FINALLY!!!!! I have looked and looked for a video for this very subject. We purchased our Daikin mini-split and a couple years ago and over the last 6 months have been smelling a mildewy smell. We checked everything, but upon turning on the unit last week, realized that the smell was coming from the unit! The wheel on the inside is covered in mold! I am very immunocompromised, so need to get taken care of quickly. Over the weekend, I disassembled the electric and various parts of the unit, but could NOT get the wheel out. I'm going to try what you've shown in your video, but if I have an questions, would you be willing to answer for me? Cannot tell you how thankful I am for your video!!! Amy C.
Amy, thank you for your comment. My brother-in-law was removing the blower wheel, I only watched him doing it. There is a magnet on the right side of the blower wheel. You need to pull the wheel out with some force. Pull it to the left.
Probably by using a water compressor regularly once a month to wash the indoor unit with water with added anti-mold chemical. Промывать сильной струёй воды под давлением раз в месяц. Если грибок появился, вытравить его практически невозможно.
Today I try to pull out the blower on my 2015 Daikin ATxv35 but also with a good force he can't go out. I'm afraid to pull more, don't want break something. There are only screw and magnet retention system or anothers? Thanks

Daikin must have put a lock on the wheel on the right end cause i cant pull it out to the left like displayed on the video
Yep useless now they have a bs lock screw now.
There is a magnet on the right hand side of the wheel. You must apply more force to pull the wheel out.

@@lamiabanca I saw a set screw on the right hand side in one of the videos. try spinning the wheel slowly and see if you see a screw on the right.
