    Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Bushnell's customer service. They'll never see another dime from me after. Thank you for the honest videos! It's nice to see someone not shilling. #SSB #cruditeforcruditysake #WLSISLIFE

    Check out the Leupold DeltaPoint Micro. I love it for a carry gun. I too had size insecurity but then realized it’s all how you use it. Present it like irons and boom, there’s the dot.

    POV: you just successfully defended yourself and others during a gas station robbery. The Brony who missed the whole thing emerges from the bathroom, sees you still holding your carry piece, and sluggishly draws his Anderson K9 with a dremelled optics cut and Bushnell red dot. You feel the sick burning of bullets in flesh as he mag dumps into you at close range. The last thing you hear as you fade to Black is his hot breath on your face whispering “just as good”

    I bought the RXU, but was sent the RXC. I returned it for the U. The RXC looked great, but I’ve noticed the U has a large halo around the red dot. Sort of like a huge donut of death. It’s more pronounced in bright areas. Did you notice this as well? Trying to determine if it’s a defect or function of the tiny window. Thanks.

    • @dangerousfreedom

      @@dangerousfreedom gotcha, thanks! I’m new to red dots and don’t hear many talk about it. I had a CT-1500 and RXC but sent them back. I didn’t notice it on those but I didn’t mount and use them outside either. Thanks for the videos.

    I'm cool with having a smaller window on a normal carry gun. But something like this will NOT cut the butt-turd if you're running a 1.5" can on a 9mm/45acp. So for that reason, I'mma give this one a semi-hard pass...

  • @HavocDH

    I wish it was 4 MOA
    6 MOA on a small window just tells me the dot is too big, maybe it’s just my uneducated opinion

    • @dangerousfreedom
      @dangerousfreedom  6 місяців тому +1

      I used to think the same thing but honestly you won’t even be able to tell a difference while shooting, 6 moa I’d stop tiny and you’ll be able to pick up the dot faster. This is the optic that changed my opinion on large dots.

    • @kylegamer48
      @kylegamer48 Місяць тому

      It's for a CCW, you're mostly going to be shooting at less than 25 yards.

    The fact that brightness is non-adjustable is just about the only thing holding me back from throwing this on an LCP Max for shiggles. Good to see at least one demonstration showing that the auto-brightness is functional.

    • @dangerousfreedom
      @dangerousfreedom  Рік тому

      I prefer the auto brightness really but can totally see why someone would want otherwise.

    • @AllOuttaNine
      @AllOuttaNine Рік тому +1

      @@dangerousfreedom I ended up buying one and sticking it on my LCP Max. 500 rounds later in indoor and outpost environments I agree that it’s perfectly adequate for most situations. Of course, the dot gets washed out against a handheld or weapon light or like you mentioned, aiming into a brighter area from a darker environment, so I’ll just have to hope I don’t end up in either of those scenarios.

    No sharp edges? That thing is square bro. Like square like spongebob. Bushnell could have designed it better with rounded corners, a battery on top so zero isnt lost when you change batteries. Every time you do change batteries your zero will be off.

    • @dangerousfreedom
      @dangerousfreedom  10 місяців тому +3

      Will it though?

    • @burnnxs
      @burnnxs 8 місяців тому

      I do not own the product.
      How will it lose zero? It goes back into the exact same notched base? Same tension using torque driver.

    • @kylegamer48
      @kylegamer48 Місяць тому

      The edges aren't sharp, they're rounded. And the battery doesn't matter when it lasts 5+ years with an always on dot. Besides, at the average range that self defense shootings happen at you just need to put the person's body in the frame and you'll hit them.

    Ehhh 6moa is too big for my liking. I like 2.5-3moa

    • @dangerousfreedom
      @dangerousfreedom  Рік тому +1

      I used to feel that way, but after shooting hundreds of red dots, I think I might be coming around.

    • @whatsup24_7
      @whatsup24_7 Рік тому

      @@dangerousfreedom I never based it on feelings, I based it on logic. 6 moa covers up a target way too much when further away. With a dot 2-3moa you can shoot with much more precision.

    • @dangerousfreedom
      @dangerousfreedom  Рік тому +4

      @@whatsup24_7 I used to think the same. I was wrong, I think you are too. That's ok though. I logically thought a thing, then experience taught me something different and I updated my knowledge. Maybe our use case is different. maybe it's worth a video.

      I think the avg MOAn in the world is 5.5…

    • @AllOuttaNine
      @AllOuttaNine Рік тому +4

      @@whatsup24_7 Humble Marksman has a video on dot sizes and brings up the fact that the natural movement in your arms and hands will result in dot movement more significant than the difference in MOA. Competition shooters use dot sizes larger than 6 MOA and routinely engage targets at speed out to 25 yards and beyond in matches. I shoot 6 MOA dots on my carry/comp pistol and can clean the Defoor Hat qual without too much difficulty. If you're shooting target focused with both eyes open like you're supposed to, dot size doesn't really matter the way you might think it does.

    Window size does matter. Not big enough to track the dot. Defeats a major benefit of dots. Dimming out? Hard pass. I would’ve like this review if you properly crapped on this POS.

    • @dangerousfreedom
      @dangerousfreedom  Рік тому +4

      I disagree on windows size. When I started the review I believed the same big windows theory, turns out I don’t believe it anymore. I’ll try to find a way to live with your disappointment. 😂
