Great upload!! I must say seeing that Cleveland Electric coal train brings back memories from my childhood. I remember watching it go through Brilliant, Ohio. I miss seeing those “ yellow birds”.
Wow! I didn’t even know that Cleveland Electric operated its own coal trains! I thought that it was only Detroit Edison that operated its own coal trains! Very interesting!
I'm betting the westbound NS stack train shown in Erie was 279 as they ran that train with K-Line containers out of Buffalo back at that time. Then of course the NYSW power was on train 290 which was destined to the Susie-Q in Little Ferry, NJ via the D&H/CP between Buffalo and Binghamton
Theres just one thing i hate with your conrail videos is the end,,,,lol i love your videos you should make a conrail video 8 hours long ,,,,,give me conrail or give me death...thanks for sharing,,,Ken
I think it's actually around 1995-1996 as the PRR intermediate signals on the Fort Wayne Line east of Alliance were in the process of being removed with the installation of cab signals on that segment of the line
I’m sorry but to me the video of trains flashing by gets boring. Where is that train passing mile post wise, what town is it going through, how fast is it traveling? This information would be very interesting. Some rail fans do give some of this info which makes it more interesting. I road these NYC, PC and Conrail engines for 22 years and loved it so these videos are great especially the NYC ones. Keep up the great work but speak up.

Nice video, liked the Susquehanna sequence, a SD70MAC/B40-8 that could move out of town quick.

It was on 19th Street.
It was on 19th Street, but the NS track was relocated to an alignment parallel to the CSX mains about 20 years ago.
