Wavestate performance mod knobs:
Knob 1: Layer A (arp melody 1) Octave
Knob 2: Layer B (arp bass) Octave
Knob 3: Layer C (pad) Octave
Knob 4: Layer D (arp melody 2) Octave
Knob 5: Layer A (arp melody 1) Amp Level
Knob 6: Layer B (arp bass) Amp Level
Knob 7: Layer C (pad) Amp Level
Knob 8: Layer D (arp melody 2) Amp Level
Joystick X sets high pass filter modulation frequency (using Pitch Envelope Attack and Decay for a retriggering Pitch Envelope) for Layer C Pad.
Joystick Y sets amount of high pass filter modulation on Layer C Pad.
ModWheel sets Filter Cutoff for Layer C Pad.
The audio is recorded to SD card on a KP2S effect/recorder box and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on a Canon EOS M50 mk2 with the included EF-M 15-45mm lens. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 18 (free version).

Superb! I can’t wait for this pack to come out! Your Berlin School ones are simply excellent and so usable that it almost feels like cheating 😅.
Just curious, are there things like oscillation drift and such to emulate vintage gear? I feel like I hear it, but not sure it's baked into wave samples, or an after effect. Thanks.
It’s programmed into the patch using a slow moving LFO that modulates pitch. I like those minor imperfections 😁.
@@Waveformer Cool. I had a system 8 that had some 'age' modulation options. Don't recall exactly what it was called, but with the Juno 106 plug out, it was really critical to emulating an honest reproduction.

Just trying to figure out this synth, before I get one. Do you program everything in the computer, or dive in menus? Seems quite complex to do it standalone, but also intriguing.
My first soundbank was created entirely on the hardware synth without the computer. After that I started to use a combination of hardware knobs and computer editor, but I still use the hardware interface more than the computer editor. I think the menu diving is more like menu snorkeling. The menus are not that deep. Often it’s just the push of one or two buttons and then you can use the hardware controllers to tweak the values.
I use the software editor mostly for selecting samples and for adjusting effect parameters and for cut and pasting steps in a wave sequence. For the rest I use the hardware synth interface. I have muscle memory for all the editing, so it’s faster to use the hardware for me.

Yeah, Korg did an amazing job on these synths! I have the modwave as well. It’s a very cool approach to wavetables. I plan to spend more time with the modwave, but I’ve just been enjoying the Wavestate so much :-).

Yes. All presets have been tested with Wavestate Native and sounds identical to the hardware version.
