I never used to touch everything; the few times I've been yard sale-ing in a long time. I've been watching you a LOT lately & you gave me the 'yard sale fever'. lol So, this last weekend I went out myself! I just rode around looking for signs & found some beautiful stuff. This one lady was an actual artist; off a main road & back a good ways until the road turned gravel & back off THAT road! lol She sold me several pieces of her art work for a really good price. I got her canvas painting of a tree (looked like a weeping willow) & the fall colored leaves were blowing in the wind, sweeping all to one side. I know, that was a pretty detailed description. But it was beautiful. I got it for $5. I bought 3 or 4 more of her pieces. And yes, every sale I went to, I touched EVERYTHING. LOL!!! Love that Victorian-style picture frame & the Brighten planner. I also like that pin with the gold face, those sterling earrings, that long necklace, and the abolone stretch ring. You always find some good yard sales. Here in San Antonio, a lot of yard sales are priced way too much. I would have a ball yard sale-ing with you. lol Sorry for such a long comment.

Love your channel! I garage sale quite a bit for resale and I come to notice that Joanna Gaines with Magnolia is a brand to look for. Great resale and any kind of farmhouse decor sells VERY well!
I love to look for jewelry too. I really liked the purple bracelet.
Oh yes, I too examine carefully every piece of interest. And I look also at clothing but to make certain if there is wool content that it is free of moth holes. Have to hold the garment up to a bright light, if in doubt pass up.

Great jewelry haul. I have two much jewelry myself. I'm a fan of Laurel Burch. I've got coffee cups purses and cosmetic bags. It might be because I love cats. I have 3. I like dogs to but after our last one died we've not got another one. Oh and I touch everything too. I look for name brand items so I've got to turn it over to see who made it. I had an antique booth too at one point, jewelry always sells.
I'm a huge cat and dog lover myself. I have 6 cats and 2 rescued pit bulls and a pet duck. Animals are just wonderful!

That silver “crumb holder” is called a little butler. They had some wonderful ones in the 50’s. A lot of them looked like little skillets so the oblong one is very nice. And yes, I pick up everything & check it out. You never know what you’ll find!
Sure, we (my husband and I) always pick items up, mainly to see if there's any markings, damage, and like you said about the weight.

Have you checked out The Bargain Barons? They are a couple in Canada who do garage sales looking for antiques and vintage items. Karen is really into jewelry too! I've learned so much from them. Of course you have to pick things up to look at them. You look for the makers mark or brand and you have to check for damage
I would have gotten those hangers. My daughter says I have OCD because mine and my husband’s closets are organized by hanger colour. Pants on one colour, shirts on another etc
At 11:41 as you were leaving there was a, looked like a wicker stand that looked really good. Don't know in person or how much.
I think the bag that had the jade hoops and blue stones that are interchangeable is Premier Designs Jewelry. I use to sell it and they also had other colors in the catalog that you could order.

I always look at the bottom, hallmarks on silver, manufacturers on other goods, does it have a hand made bottom, I always check!

Tonya the crumb catcher is called a SILENT BUTLER. I think that is a repro. Usually larger to gather cigarete butts and etc by butlers or maids.

That's a crumb catcher put it at the edge of the table and sweep the crumbs and put them right in that box

those keys & locks are older luggage locks... before the FAA decided that you need to use locks they can open when they do a security check. they aren't antique... 20-25 years old, so vintage...

Should have picked up the skate board. and the Star Wars! So many collectors of them. Put them in Ebay or marketplace. Have to broaden your market to the young too. Always buy designer items. Not so much older women's. Tony Hawk skateboards are #1,but ALL will sell.

The few times I go in Goodwill I definitely pick up and look at markings.

You could pay for your jewelry and put in your bag, instead of leaving.
Ask for a receipt, if you think someone will question you.
