This fight sequence is utterly atrocious. So many wide angles of the camera. You can't even focus properly. And Oliver can't just beat Ra's like this. Come on.
Imo, Ra's al Ghul was great in this season. Sure, he wasn't the best villain, but the actor's portrayal of the character was very comic accurate (minus some of the bad writing) and said some of the coldest and best lines that are just perfect for a character like Ra's al Ghul. Honestly, I thought he was great.

This season was a good season i don't care what people say about this season but it was good
This is still my favorite season.
The CW didn't have enough money for a Batman series, so they made an Arrow series and made him fight Batman's villian, nice.
EXACTLY 💯 💯 💯 💯
Except joker and bane
Oliver thinking he was Ra's first choice.....Bruce Wayne laughing in the background
@Rishitiran Anandeswaran EXACTLY 💯 👏 Batman spanked his ass sooo badly that he had to look towards the backup option 🤣.
At 2:30 the sword isn't supposed to be in Ra's, it's meant to be cutting his side like what he did to Oliver in "The Climb" fight.
But yeah, this fight still isn't the best.
The reason Ra's al Ghul lost was because he fought like a younger man with nothing held back, admirable, but mistaken.
I think Ras lost to Oliver purposely.
u stole this line from the previous fight video comment section. Except YOU inserted Ra's name in place of Oliver's.
you probably thought nobody would ever see it.......
sad little boy...
“You choose a sword that has already defeated you in battle...”
Ra’s for all his years of intense training, martial skills and experience, didn’t know that the sword doesn’t make the swordsman?
It's more of a bad omen thing
Legend says that the police officer is still waiting for a clear shot...
Why didnt Oliver throw him off the waterfall cliff like Ra's did to him??
This show's better off as being a Batman show with the way Oliver Queen is portrayed lol.
One of the main criticisms, actually.
loved ra's but ollie beating him in season 3 and then getting beat in later series by people who should be weaker really doe him a disservice
shit show with shit fight coreography. a movie filmed with limited budget in second hand studio. Hence the long talks during fights, unreal fight moves and fight outcomes. I pitty the actors trully. They have no fault in this.
Yeah I noticed that too. I noticed how much slower the pace was in the fights and the moves didn't make a lot of sense to me either. I'm a professional fighter though that's what I do although not with swords lol. No the actors were definitely not The problem here at all.
Ra's literally says his own name, and then Oliver still continues to butcher it.
Ras should have took off his shirt. And if he want to. I mean really. He could kill arrow at list three times
There shouldve been more sword fights like this throught the show
Daaamn that music makes the fight so EPIC...
1:26 could they seriously hear that from there?
Ras Al Ghul: thinks he will blow by arrow easily
*Batman has joined the chat*
*Ras Al Ghul has left the chat*
They fight in chat?
1:05 Who is Green Arrow and who Ras Al Ghull ?
Well damn he really accepted his death by giving his ring too
