This video shows exactly why I started stacking. I’m leaving a legacy for my kids the same as this man’s father left for him. The difference for my kids is that I’m teaching them the value of what’s there so they don’t have to guess or be taken advantage of. We don’t have someone as EPIC as Tim in our area.
This man is extremely fortunate he found Tim's shop. These are the people who can, and do, get ripped off so easily. It is important to educate one self when dealing with anything of potential value.
i pass on platinum and palladium but I happily buy the silver and gold. Passing the wealth down to your children is a good thing but teaching them about it before you die is so much better
I just wanna take a moment to say this video is very informative and I really love and enjoy how you educate this gentleman after he received his coin collection from his father. This was beautiful
I like your definition of Stacking Yankee, I have been stacking gold since it was around $220 per ounce (year 2000 approx) and still got it and am still buying it. Tim knows his onions. Scotland is great, been several times, fish and chips followed by a deep fried Mars bar is well a culinary delight, no seriously Scotland is great and so are the people,
@ 60 Million years ago Scotland actually broke off from North America and connected to the UK. The geography is totally different to England, it is a complete contrast. Really.
@ indeed , that man right there I doesn’t matter if he slips a little , he still is a world of knowledge but you were there for him like good friends do , great video Yankee
I am blessed to have couple awesome LCS coin shops near my area, there only like Twenty minutes away. Every week stacking at my local coin shops more silver weight & gold once month. I love exchanging federal reserve notes for real money precious metals anytime of the week.
My favorite episode of Yankee Stacker is when Tim is on camera in his shop and a customer calls to tell Tim one of the gold coins he recently bought from Tim is fake. Notice how Tim breaks out the "verifier" when he's buying someone's coins over the counter but doesn't "verify" the coins he's selling to his customers. Being loyal to a coin dealer/precious metals distributor is like marrying an automobile, i.e. a bad idea. I bought a single tube of silver Canadian Maple Leafs from Tim a couple of years ago, it took him a month to ship them to me in Texas. Tim used every excuse in the book to explain to me why he didn't ship my tube of Maple Leafs in a timely fashion. I told myself never again will I expose myself to the bullshit. Having a wide network of coin/precious metals dealer/distributors is in everyone's best interest as opposed to being buddies with your local coin shop owner whom you claim to love as a result of his political views. Sad thing about Tim's customers isn't that they're bumpkins it's that they're bumpkins and don't know it-
This guy was VERY smart in one way... he brought it to Tim! Imagine a less than honorable person could have told him it's worth $3,000 and I'll bet he would have been happy. With my silver/coins, guns and ham radios... my fear is that if I pass before my wife, she will sell them for what I told her I paid for them! 😉🤪
I've bought 20 AU $10 Gold Liberties and 11 AU $20 Gold Liberties as part of my stack - I really like them. The rest of my Gold is 1 oz. Gold Maples and Krugerrands. My Gold total is 49.32 ozs. (with 1,885 ozs. of Silver)
my local coin shop dennets in norwich uk has just closed as clive i believe just got old.im 67 and can remember going into his shop as a young kid.honest and new his stuff.alas i would not trust anybody else in my city.uk version of tim.had race horses too.
That's good that the father was smart enough to put money away into precious metals. It's a shame the practice wasn't passed on, though. Certainly sad to see it all sold just to go on vacation!
Another case where the kids or close relatives are cashing in the father's or uncle's stash as fast as they can. They have absolutely no interest in the precious metals, or the numismatic value. Their only interest is in how much cash they can get at this moment. No concept of hedging against inflation or holding the stash until the spot price is higher, or they have a real emergency. They want the cash and already have plans how they will spend it, vacation, this or that, etc. SMH
A nice variety of PM that he left his family. Probably should have told someone what it was worth. Lucky he went to Tim who’s honest and not to someone else.
What it's worth has gone up considerably of late but any info is better than none. Agree that It's good he went to Tim's store and not some rip off pawn shop.
I received a Morgan dollar from Jim bullion few years back, it was that things twin brother… looked as if someone had put it on a wire brush wheel… I thought this thing has been sent a dozen times and returned, felt sorry for the thing… still have it!
the way he said BAR “BA” or i guess he would say this > take the car to the bar to get coffee > he would say “TAKE THE CAH Tonthe BAH to get CU-AH-FEE”

You are a wise man, Steven. Train those kids well! 👌🏼
Here's hoping tRUMP screws you all on his way to glory for himself.
Bingo
Leaf a legacy, too. Plant a tree with your kids. It won't mean anything to them for forty years, though 😂
This man is extremely fortunate he found Tim's shop. These are the people who can, and do, get ripped off so easily. It is important to educate one self when dealing with anything of potential value.
Knowledge is power!
So many with "smart" fathers who stacked silver... making Dad proud by cashing in instead of learning what Dad knew!
Yep that what I said, Tim's face when he knows these kids are cashing in dads horde for garbage!
I hope "smart father" is what my kids think when they inherit my stack some day!
@@czechstacker better teach them about this stuff then.
@marclski8052 dads fault for not teaching his kids
Good for him! Those coins are worth around $1200 instead of $30. Not so fake after all.
When people sell Dad's holdings, it doesn't have to be an all or nothing proposition. They can and should hold onto some of the gold and silver.
We need the podcast with Tim and Harry! 🙏
i pass on platinum and palladium but I happily buy the silver and gold. Passing the wealth down to your children is a good thing but teaching them about it before you die is so much better
Glad this guy brought his stuff to Tim, there would have been a good chance someone would have ripped him off..
Father spends a lifetime stacking and the son blows it in 2 weeks on a trip to Scotland. SMH.
Yea, but unfortunately that's what usually happens...
if circulated coins could talk that morgan would be priceless
Has value because it’s silver. That’s what it would say.
Love Tim's genuine nature and Yankee your right there to assist with kind words and assistance!
Accumulate Physical Precious Metals, make bankers jump again
I've got a hoodie and mug saying that 😊
Tim is a gentleman & a scholar
I just wanna take a moment to say this video is very informative and I really love and enjoy how you educate this gentleman after he received his coin collection from his father. This was beautiful
I am a Rosemaie but from Illinois. Nice to hear the name is still out there. Love your channel and information. Tim's wisdom helps so many of us.
We don't have anyone like tim in Illinois
Hope you both are doing well Yankee. God bless you Guys 🙏
Therapy watching Tim.
Blessings Yankee and Tim and all you fine folks 🙏🏼✝️🕊️
I'm the person who would buy that beat up Morgan. It's beautiful.
❤ another fine Yankee production, starring Tim!
If i ever sell to a coin dealer again. I will sell to Tim. Not many honest coin dealers around anymore.
Always a good day when Tim comes across the s green! Good afternoon Yankee
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Always a good day with Tim!

There's some fine fish and chips in Scotland, pity my village chippy is shyte 😢
@@UK-Blue I totally agree. I love Scotland, Edinburgh is my favourite, The Balmoral is wonderful as well for the Neeps & tatties.
I would love to visit Scotland, it’s on the bucket list

In Boston Ma. I've climbed on Pudding stone, a conglomerate that is the same rock found in west Africa. 👍
I always enjoy who comes into Tim's shop and what treasures they carry!
666 I knew it!
Good to see honest people.
4:06 the ladies love Tim!
I love the platinum and palladium 😮really nice
Absolutely beautiful. I think it’s so cool how a fuel cell is made with platinum feed in hydrogen and makes electricity.
@@Scoondog Fuel cells are becoming more popular and will one day be quite common for off-grid applications. Yankee doesn't talk about Platinum enough.
The Palladium sure surprised Tim.😂
First time I see the man the legend slip a little , you are the man Mr Tim!!!
We’re all human. I had my man, Tim’s back! 👊🏼
@ indeed , that man right there I doesn’t matter if he slips a little , he still is a world of knowledge but you were there for him like good friends do , great video Yankee
This is a great, fun video! What ablessing for that family! Palladium Maples!! Sheesh!

Wow , man was correct dad was smart ! Good catch on the platinum.
We all make mistakes. Might be the first I've seen from Tim. Saved by the bell; I mean Yankee.
Yankee, Tim had a special coin for you and you rejected it!!!! Shame on you!!! Lmao! You guys are too much fun! Love it !
On that collection, If I found one fake one, Would check every one of them.
Stacking can also mean putting one on top of the other, filling a tube or just making a really nice tower made of precious metals haha
Indeed! 👌🏼
Great video. Imagine those coins going into the trash !
Make 2025 great with getting a video interview with Tim and Harry
Another hilarious video with Tim! Always making awesome, unique content, Yankee!
Education to your kids is amazing. The world will change overnight and the people will become educated.
The one thing I'll say is this guy is much smarter than many: he went to a legitimate LCS. And, he picked one of the best, in Tims.
Thank you gentlemen for the video.
Very educational guys! Thsnks from Alaska!

Good for you. But don't advertise and make yourself a target.
That would frustrate me. Spent a lot of time for a “maybe I’ll come back and sell some of it”.
Keep on stackin'!
That was nice just Tim no stock sales
Thanks again for your videos
I had never seen a palladium maple before..very cool. Way to look out for Tim Yank! :)

Theres needs to be a reality tv show for Tim.
Thanks for clarifying that it was his dad's. My gut was telling me it was stolen. Having all this metal without a clue to what he had
I keep threatening to take my stack to Vegas... I don't think my kids believe me anymore lol
Great video as always. Tell Tim Rob says howdy 😊
It would have been interesting to see what Yankee would have thought before he knew if he held it
I don’t mean to be rude but that just proves that you can’t trust even experts to get it right. Silver is spelt differently to palladium😮
2:47 pleasant surprise of palladium 🤍
Great video. As always.

🎉 Awesome 👍 Buy the Dips 💕😺😺
I would have grabbed that Morgan
Totally enjoyable video
Mentioning what the palladium price was compared to today or the price of silver around the times his dad purchased.
I wish I had that guys problem !
The $20 Liberty said "Copy" right above the shield on the reverse.
he did say it was a replica but it's still 999 silver
Serious eye candy there!
Yeah I was gonna say...those aren't fakes. haha
Thanks
Yay no paper in the video, only precious metals that you can touch!!1
We have a honest coin dealer in ukiah calif
Nice Video
Interesting interaction. A bit unusual though.
i was gonna say the $50 Canada coins were a denomination they probably used for Platinum or Palladium
Platinum!!! 😮
And not a word to why he should keep it..
You should ask Harry's coin shop to send you an Adrian Tool.
selling assets to go on trips hurts my soul
Yeah. I know.
If only platinum/palladium were different in colour
Funny… I knew those were Palladium the moment I saw them. My 2005’s are packaged like that too.
🤓👌🏼
I never cared about the look of palladium or platinum only because it looks like silver. It is worth much more of course.
copies 😮😂
He'll be welcome here in Scotland.
Warn him of the Midges!
👍👍
Those 2 oz of Palladium are worth 2k alone.
He might have some rare grease bars stashed away as well!
The 2002 Pt set goes for 3k alone.
That Palladium is rigged...lol

Didn't have a clue, like 75% of the people

I can’t find mah khakis!
Thank you for the best content!
YANKEE WiTH THE WiN > TiM NEVER LOSES
just finished the video
My question about the fake coins. Can they get be traced back and prosecuted for counterfeit?
Don't wanna get stuck holding on to a Morgan you can't sell.
The man has no attachment to the metal. It's just cash
Love the Morgans and have a good stack of them. But that coin!? What a piece of $!#@^!. lol
