The healthcare conundrum in the U.S. is a prime example and may have even contributed to the recent healthcare CEO assassination. In contrast, Thailand's healthcare system is generally considered to be of high quality. Thailand and the U.S. have similar scores in the Index, with Thailand scoring 83.1 (ranked 9th) and the U.S. scoring 81.8 (ranked 11th), respectively. But it shouldn't be that way. The quality of life here is a joke.
