Hi...Your video is Lovely, a sweet word of encouragement.
Years back, I'm 70 and at the time, I was in my 20's...A counsellor said to me, as I shared the story of a battered woman, Oh...I'm sensing some self-pity here.
Coming out of the session I was confused but knew to search my heart. It was then that I realized, it's okay to acknowledge the hurt, and even apply some salve....But we gotz tah let it go at a point.
Hehe, it's sweet how wisdom expands on itself. I came to understand what's mine to shift, and what's not mine...What I can change, and what I cannot change in the moment.
These days, I'm working in the garden, something I never had the time or energy for raising the family. With all the time I now have, I am weaker, and tire. It's really too much for one person, but I remind myself with a phrase I picked up over the years...When things try to overwhelm, I say, Not so Bad! Hehe, magically there's a shift and I regain my flow. There's no racing, just pacing, and when I tire, I'm resting, even napping, guiltlessly.
My garden challenges me, hehe, I'm a slooooow learner, but I also came to know that My pace is The pace, and I'm diggin' it. Lol, no pun intended;0)
The magic and miracles of the garden, save me, as do the opportunities to create. I am so thankful to have the greenspace around this home, never having to go far to Hug a Tree, lay in moss to look up at a Full Moon, or listen to bird song.
I love that your husband is supportive and can do some of that heavy lifting, and yeah, share in the glory of the land and the honouring you have towards her.
Beaming you the highest love, in agreeance with your needs and requirements...Thank you for this share, and so nice to meet you.
...much Love from Vancouver Island. xo ❣
ps. now, I'm readying to see if my DIY juice took care of those green horned worms on my once especially beauty-full Collard plant. Hehe, I peaked out my bedroom window earlier to see she's still green and strong, so this is a good thing:)

@@LindasDesk Sending love to you as well. Thank you for your lovely words. I have had the privilege of being in Vancouver Island twice. What a beautiful place! Both times we just stayed in Victoria, had tea at the Empress, and went to Butchart Gardens. If I am fortunate enough to get back there, I’d love to go to the butterfly gardens they have nearby. Have you ever been there to the butterfly garden?

@@butterflysagepnw Hello, again:) What a sweet response and wonderful that you've been to the island. Yes, Butterfly Garden is just up the road, and tonight, I could hear the fireworks at Butchart Gardens. We use to be able to stand in the cul-de-saq and see the fireworks over the trees.....Hehe, but not anymore. Everything has grown.
Happy Full Moon In Capricorn, and Cheers to Doing that which sparks our joy...Happy Gardening. 🌻🌺🌹🌼🌷
