In your settings -> graphics: - Make sure you're playing in fullscreen mode (not "windowed fullscreen") - Set the refresh rate slider all the way to the right. - Renderer: OpenGL (3.3.0) if supported - Select the highest res frequency supported by your monitor (it can be "1920x1080 @144hz 24 bit (16:9)" as an example. or 60hz depending on your monitor.) It should be alright if you have these settings

for refresh rate set it not all the way to the right. Wasting energy and gpu goes for 100% may cause lags.
