      Louis Farrakhan was a calypso singer in the early 50s went by the stage name Calypso Gene, before that he real name is Louis Eugene Walcott, before he was converted to Islam by the Nation of Islam by the Leader of that time the late Elijah Muhammad.....now....his name is Louis Farrakhan

      @@liamsandal6360 by 1950's Calipso standards I would say he did well, Calipso is about the word play, and imho, he did just as good perhaps as then, Belafonte. Maybe you are listening to him through a modern filter, at any rate I enjoyed "Gene the Charmer," and also hear the Cleric plays a mean violin, find it impressive, shows a whole different side of him.

      @@kewlgurrl I have seen the documentary. More than once. Elijah Muhammad did NOT "orchestrate" his assassination. Absolutely false. It was orchestrated by FBI,CIA,Naval Intelligence, NYPD(BOSSI) and perhaps others. That "documentary" is for newbies and those who don't know anything about this subject beyond movies and made for mainstream television programs. It has some value, but is mostly entertainment.

    • @mightymojnir
      @mightymojnir 3 роки тому +3

      Malcolm was his teacher and they loved each other at first. When Malcolm when against Elijah Muhammad and the Nation itself, Farrakhan had to choose a side and he went with the man that taught both of them, Elijah. That’s it in a nutshell but of course there is a ton more detail to the story. He talks about it in a video right here on youtube. Type in “Farrakhan talks about Malcolm X”.

    • @isonlyme1957
      @isonlyme1957 2 роки тому +1

      The reason Malcolm X went against Elijah Mohammed was because he was using his power in the nation not only for self profit but to impregnate many of the nation's sisters and worst once they got pregnant (being that they did not believe in abortion) he would not only dumped them and go to the next one but they did not get a cent or any kind of help for them or the babies, at first Malcolm did not believe until he himself contacted many of the sisters himself and saw their living conditions and lack of help from the nation, talk about being my brother's keeper!

    • @kingali-el4416
      @kingali-el4416 2 роки тому +2

      Malcolm mentored him until he left the nation.. When Malcolm finances dried up he started doin anything that would get him in the media so he started disrespecting his teacher, then Minister Farrakhan wrote an article and said Malcolm was worthy of death and that's it... Malcolm died soon after and Minister Farrakhan wears that to this very day that he started the atmosphere that lead to Malcolm's assassination...

      farrakhan didn't start the so-called "nation of Islam". That was founded by a former baptist lay preacher Elijah Poole, under the fraudulent guidance of a one time (possible lifelong) member of the fraudulent non-Muslim cult of qadianism, Wallace Farad. Many of Mr Pooles biological sons realised that what their father was teaching was not actually Islam at all, and thus many left the movement and became members of the main body (jamaah) of Muslims. Farrakhan has continued to follow and promote the false teachings of Mr Poole and the dajjal Wallace Farad.
