I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for this! There were so many tips and tricks that I had never heard or seen before, and I've been really into building since the game came out! I've been scratching my head with what to do about the makeshift mega mansion prefab. I'll definitely grab the catwalks when I can, I just want to stick a curtain on the door, dang it!

Just seeing this but hell yeah! This is a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing. I've never tried using prefabs because they're just boring to me and I never felt like trying to figure them out but this definitely inspires me to do so!

Personally I like prefabs. They give a nice post-nuclear vibe and have limitless uses.

This is a great tutorial Nux, very clear and well done. Thank you very much for sharing these techniques with the Fallout 76 building community. I just recently finished a build using two of the prefabs and this video was very helpful. I think the tip that helped me the most was to place a large rug on the floor before placing the blueprint. That really worked like a charm. I already had several free place wall blueprints but I was sometimes having trouble placing them and I didn't think to use the large rugs.
I watched the UWN Everything Camp that featured your Van and Vertibird builds. Those builds are both amazing. It was great to see really detailed tours of the camps and learn some of the techniques you used.
If you get a chance please check out the UWN Everything Camp from last week ( 3/30/2023). Jessica and Rux toured a couple of my camps and one of my shelters. My junkyard camp features two destroyed prefabs that I built in (the trailer you use in this video and the Red Rocket).

Thx man yeah I did check it out it's amazing man those destroyed prefabs were great, I also built in the destroyed trailer there's a vid on my channel somewhere but that was before I was doing anything under the map, used a very different technique but that roof idea you used is brilliant and way better 😆, also really liked the scrap tower above the Red Rocket, and the shelter was amazing you should do more vids for your channel man, really awesome stuff!

I was really pleased with how that camp and shelter turned out.
I really love the look of the destroyed prefabs especially the Red Rocket. I have not tried the roof method with all of the prefabs but I have tried it with several of them and so far it has worked.
I hope to try and learn how to do a bit of recording because I really would like to be able to share my builds with the community more. I have several ideas for tutorials as well.

I use a blueprint of the wall/rug/catwalk you don’t need the post mate just place wall down add catwalk then place rug n copy 😁

Ah thx Jack, Seeing your original anywhere walls video is what gave me the idea to even try make stuff like this work, that's why i talked about it in the vid 😆
And you should definitely do another tips and tricks vid then bud, i'm sure it would be a hit cus you're always coming up with great stuff, like your shelter fridge and sink, loved em.

This trick works absolute wonders with everything else, Fuck that stupid BOS armory prefab that refuses to work with this!!!!
Are the containers classed as pre-fabs ? I’m just starting to do camp building after near 4 years of playing this game. Got to find something to do until Nuka World Tour drops as the Pitt is just too much of a grind.

your decorating is NEXT LEVEL!!!!! Question....how did you get the western bar sections to float without having the other bar section under it? At the moment I can get them floating using the CAMP module. But if I try to remove the lower section it takes the floating one with it.
Thx I really appreciate that! You're talking about in the mobile home there at the end above the tables and stoves etc ? See the red picnic blanket I'm using as a carpet there in the kitchen...place those pesky western bar counters on that rug before hand lined up how you want em to look at the top, then place the whole rug on the camp module, jack all the counters up and place the rug down where you want it, then build underneath as you wish, hope that helps 😆

Only thing i still dont understand is how you build in a broken trailer, in your build its broken but when i break it everything except for the walls disappear?
@@angelo7594 Hey bud that was going to be my next tutorial haha, I have a method of doing it but Mr Church just did a video last week on how to build in a destroyed prefab and his method is actually way better than mine so just go check out his channel and you'll see it's his latest video. Then you'll know 😆👍

Sorry for asking so many questions but it doesnt matter what i do it wont let me place the door the way you showed, it worked once but the other one wont place any idea why?

Hmm yes it might be out at the moment, hopefully they come back soon, there's also the alien variant of them.

The new camp is coming along so well!
I made one of the BoS/enclave themed power armour display/workbenches from your tutorial and it turned out so well I blueprinted it and copied it so now there are two! It basically fills the first floor of the Tower but I'm going to destroy them and put an armour and weapons workbench into the enclave doors so it's like a U shaped workroom.

I am on xbox and tried this with the new tavern. I am able to place one wall but never a second one. It always comes up as intersecting. Any tips on how to get this to work?
Need more context , is it bottom floor, nothing else placed etc ? I just gave it a go quick with that tavern and didn't have a problem, they place everywhere
I don’t have a catwalk. Is it the only object you can use?
