Don't really. Before getting those directly from the factory I was using the old school tape or liquid masking (I'm still using them). So no, nothing better than these masks. The only way to get them is by contacting the factory directly.
I think (haven't tried it yet, but plan to) that you could, IF your original is a 3d model. Using either boolean functions in your modeling software or the "extract" function in zbrush. There are a lot of options now for 3d resin, I use sirayatech blu and it's remarkably durable. I can machine parts on the mill and lathe. I've seen some increase the durability a lot by blending different resins together. It might be advantageous if the printed masks were very slightly flexible.
Love your videos! What paints do you use? 😊
Thanks! I use mainly Mr. Color paint.
hi Art Fabula, thank you for this upload, do you have any suggestion for better masks?

@@artfabula Sorry for the confusion but I meant respirator masks :)
Oh, sorry. I understood wrong. Yes, for people with beards like me the best mask you can use is papr respirators, with air supply.
@@artfabula thank you so much, looking forward to your future video uploads
Which company did you use to get these made and how much did it cost?
I will make a video about this, but you can find more information in my “how to make an art toy video” and in older videos.
You think it’s possible to create those painting masks from your own 3D printer? Maybe 🤔
It is. But they would be fragile. But it's possible.
@@artfabula this is something I’ve been working on as well canr choose a design haha
Try it! I want to see the results!

That is an option that needs to be tried.
