If you are not going for tab s8 ultra, it is definitely better with the Lenovo unless you want some specific feature offered by Samsung. On top of that, the software on Android devices has a long way to go against Apple in terms of optimisation and variety. Besides, most people wanted Tab for some light work. So Lenovo will be a cost-effective solution compared to Tab S8+. Yes, the pricing is significantly different in China (yes, I am in China.). The Tab S8+ with 8G+128G costs 6399 CNY against 3999 CNY with 8G+256G on P12. Both pricing is retail of their official website. I do not have a P12, but I bought a P11 for my dad. When my mom saw that, she was gonna throw her big iPad Pro away given the screen and slick build and design. Also, I am a proud owner of S8 tab ultra. Honestly, if I wasn't a fan of a bigger screen, I would have gone with the P12 given its sharp pricing. Hopefully, this helps everyone. Oh, yes, Lenovo is definitely behind in terms of firmware support. But if you are not critical, it can be ignored.

@@JoeGillian0 that was a very wise choice. Because I did not have a tab, therefore I purchased an ultra. Still, ultra isn’t everything you thought it would be. But it is a fantastic media center, which is very light. Still, the price of an ultra can buy a lower spec MacBook Pro. It just depends on how deep your pocket is and your use scenario.

Lenovo has dolby vision support tho and Samsung does not. Gives Lenovo the edge for video viewing effectively
