hi i currenttly mining in two location apart and i don´t have access to my internet provider router settings so i can't open the ports. the last time i tried running a node was on iron fish and i could only connect the rigs that i have in the same location as the node. if i make a alephium node will i encounter the same issue? is there a way to fix this and connect to a node from other location/different internet provider? great video btw.
@@SterlingSpecter1 thanks , maybe solomining isn't for me . The closest pool with solo mining has 30 to 40 ms of latency is it acceptable? Or is it too much?
@@SterlingSpecter1 okay, also wondering if solar panels and battery banks would be a good idea. I live in the south and get sun most of the year, and I figure the battery banks can take over whenever the sun goes down. What do you think, could this be viable? And do you have a starter Bitcoin miner you’d recommend that isn’t super expensive but is still profitable? It’s hard to figure out what’s worth getting!
@@ratmoneyg probably the best investment youll ever make if the free power one, if you can get it for cheap it will be good for years to come. i would start off with a small miner like an avalon nano. just to get your foot in the door and really experice the whole thing then look into getting better hardware when you are cofortable, but solar allows you to be profitable on any machine so invest there first i would say
Bravo Bravo Bravo great Video.
seeing the title I thought I know the basics... but now realizing I know no fucks...

you might be able to run through vpn but it would have to be a close VPN with low latency, probably easier to just use the pool node

@@emmanuelveronessi5672 it alright but i would see how many stale shares you get, if you get none it should be fine
Is pool or solo pool mining more efficient for home Bitcoin miners?
pool
