RIP Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. He's beyond a Musician, he's a prophet. All what he says in this album came to pass and till today still getting worse. May God have mercy on Nigeria.

    Unfortunately Nigeria’s problems are self inflicted & the saddest part is that the “leaders” are the exact images of the majority of Nigerians. RIP Dr. SAB.

  • @saheedadeshina1114
    @saheedadeshina1114 2 роки тому +8

    In My educated opinion, this song was the begining of SAB'S death, he fled to the US after this track generated so much heat, Abacha was going to incarcerate or worse kill him then after Abacha was conviced he was the target of all the sermons in the track. SAB came back a few years after the death of Abacha but the SAB that came back was not the SAB that left. Allahuma Igifir llahu warhmahu.

    Orin ti lo. Can anybody understand what the lead drummer was saying? À ti sáré gun’gi sáré gun’gi…. à ti tètè gun’gi tètè gun’gi…. à ti gun’gi òpòló, ojú ejò l’ómà se ò.
    It is a story of hypocrisy of tortoise 🐢 on toad who called snake 🐍 to come and kill tortoise and also called hunter to come and kill snake. After the hunter has killed the two animals, he remembered he needed body parts of tortoise too for a Voodoo he was preparing. That’s how the hunter ended killing tortoise too.
    We can go and listen to Wale Hassani, a great Nigerian ewì Poet.
    Those people that instigated Nigerians and outside world against us are also being consumed by their hypocrisy.
    😢😢😭😭😭. I cry every time I listen to this song.

      Thank you so much for the explanation! My all time favorite piece of music this... I first heard Fuji music in 1982 when I was still living in Holland, on a radio show. Spend the whole 80's and 90's looking for Fuji albums, could never find it, I was also a huge Fela Kuti fan since 1981 and those albums were also HARD to find but every now and then I could find them, like King Sunny Ade album, but Fuji.... I finally found one Barrister vinyl and one Kollington cd later in the 90's.... Thank God for the internet where I found many, many Fuji albums to download :) Again, thank you and God bless you...

    2022, Nigeria is still suffering. ASUU's on strike, there's scarcity of fuel and adulterated fuel is in circulation. 1£ is almost 700#, 1$ is on it's way to 600#, kidnapping and daytime robbery has become rampant. The future of Nigeria is bleak........

      1994 to be precise after Fuji Dimension. Barrister was both current and versed. His songs are always philosophical and sapiential. But Nigeria's politicians don't think about how to add value and create values. The best they can do is to corner the public treasury and pass the crumbs to the poor masses whom they use as tools to achieve wicked, devilish and debauched political ends.
