On the Hijrah from Makkah to Madinah, the Prophet SAS left Ali AS in charge of executing the Amana by returning the valuable possessions of some Makkans kept with the Prophet SAS back to the people as a Sacred Trust. 5. The Prophet SAS then gave Ali AS another Sacred Trust to take the three Fatimas - Fatima Zahara AS, his own mother Fatima and Fatima, daughter of Hamza safely to join the Prophet SAS in Madinah and single-handedly valiantly fought off attackers on the journey. 6. A few months upon arrival in Madinah, the Prophet SAS ordered the Muhajireen to each choose an Ansar as his brother to cement brotherhood, but he did not request Ali AS to do so. Neither did the Prophet SAS himself do likewise. Instead, he SAS held Ali AS's hand and declared him as his SAS brother to affirm their special and unique relationship in this world and the Hereafter. Refer to 59:9. 7. Marriage to Fatima AS - 624 when Ali AS was choosen to marry the daughter of the Prophet SAS, while Abu Bakr and Umar RA were refused. Ali AS was the paternal cousin of the Prophet SAS, son-in-law and closest confidante and their house was the only door left open to Masjid Nabawi when all others were ordered closed. 8. Battle of Badr - 624 when Ali AS put down more of the enemies than any other from among the 313 ill equipped Muslims against some 1,000 strong and better equipped enemies of Makkah. 9. Battle of Khaibar - 629 when Ali AS brought an astounding victory to the Prophet SAS. After Abu Bakr and Umar RA failed to do so before him on two separate attempts, the Prophet SAS made an amazing statement: "Tomorrow Allah will send a man who loves Allah and His Prophet and Allah and His Prophet love him too. He will deliver Khaibar to me." 10. Battle of Hunain - 630 when the army of 12,000 fled the arrows in the valley by the Hawazin and Thaqif of 24,000 strong against the Prophet SAS, while only 8 distinguished Companions remained with the Prophet SAS, not including neither Abu Bakr, Umar nor Uthman RA. Ali AS brought final victory to him SAS at Hunain. 11. Ghazwat Tabuk - 630 when the Prophet SAS left Ali AS in charge of Madinah and likened him to himself SAS as Aron was to Moses AS as Nabi and Successor. Refer to 13:7. 12. Ghadeer Khumm - 632 on the 18th of Zul Hijjah after the Farewell Hajj, when the Prophet SAS explicitly and publicly declared Ali AS his SAS's Successor and those present openly congratulated him, including Abu Bakr and Umar RA. 13. Mubahala - 632 when the Prophet SAS entered into Divine Curse with the Christians of Najran to prove the Truth. Salaam Dr Mustafa. What I see is you are presenting one part of the story only. There's not even full consensus within twelver shias whether attack on house of Fatimah (RA AS) ever happened or not. Also, there's no consensus within shia Islam about Umar (RA) and Abubakar (RA) as can be seen in Zaydiyaah sect. My dissertation is, there's no point in bickering over these issues. Even Ali (AS RA) would not have hated Abubakar (RA) and Omar (RA) like unfortunately some of our shia brethren do.

No. The Sunni call there hadiths sahih or authentic, we Shia do not find any Hadith book or compiler sahih but we do believe that in general our Hadith books are a lot more accurate than that of the sunnis. Another thing is that our hadiths revolve around the prophet and allubait or his family while Sunni hadiths centre around the prophet and the ummah at or around the time of the prophet.

Rather, he is calm and respectful and stressed the importance of not letting our differences be the cause of corruption in our relationships (with people of a different school or even religion). This lecture was extremely difficult to listen to as it pertained to our blessed Fatimah Zahara, may Allah bless her and continue to raise her status! My heart literally burns anytime I hear what these 2 criminals -- these 2 power hungry ignorant wanna be leaders did to our blessed Fatimah, blessings be upon her and her family. I cannot simply agree to ever stand shoulder to shoulder with the sunni's who for no good reason of their own stand against the family of the Prophet - who only listen to their imans as cattle are led to pasture. I was a sunni for over 2 decades and I was sincere in my seeking the truth and even though I sought it, it was still very, very hard to get to the truth except that Allah subhanAllah ta'Allah bought me out of ignorance in the most beautiful way. Over 20 years were wasted without me loving the family of the Prophet, may Allah subhanAllah ta'Aallah bless him and his household. I read bios, book after book and each and every book "never once mentioned Fatimah, Ali, or their sons" -- there is a massive, massive conspiracy to keep the Muslims out of right guidance but AlhamduAllah Allah sees everything and He is the one who guides. I will never get over of the fact that the truth was hidden and is hidden from the masses. I pray my sincere Muslims Brothers and Sisters, by the love and grace of Allah will find out the truth and get on "Noah's ark" before it's too late. Peace to you and your family Sheikh. What I see is you are presenting one part of the story only. There's not even full consensus within twelver shias whether attack on house of Fatimah (RA AS) ever happened or not. Also, there's no consensus within shia Islam about Umar (RA) and Abubakar (RA) as can be seen in Zaydiyaah sect. My dissertation is, there's no point in bickering over these issues. Even Ali (AS RA) would not have hated Abubakar (RA) and Omar (RA) like unfortunately some of our shia brethren do.
Imam Ali (as)and Ahl Al Bayt needed to be martyred otherwise the second coming of Jesus (saws)would have been pointless since the world would have been Muslim more than it is now.
If imam Ali didn't die all if Europe would have been converted thus leaving only India and China left

I concur with u. One of his lecture he criticized Bukhari for not liking Hazarath Ali ra as a result he condems his hadith. He is selective he uses some hadith and rejects what criticizes the shias.
@@rahamankhan2895 it's not about being selective. He scientifically proves his Shiee beliefs from a book that is accepted as authentic by sunni Muslim, so the sunni brothers can't reject his reasoning.

No. The Sunni call there hadiths sahih or authentic, we Shia do not find any Hadith book or compiler sahih but we do believe that in general our Hadith books are a lot more accurate than that of the sunnis. Another thing is that our hadiths revolve around the prophet and allubait or his family while Sunni hadiths centre around the prophet and the ummah at or around the time of the prophet.

For some reason, Sunni scholars are usually angry and ultra aggressive. I'm half Sunni half Shia, but there's so much difference in how scholars from either deliver.

@@momolacoste874 No. Shia Islam needs to reform the part of their religion that has hatred for the Companions of the Prophet. Sunnis will never accept that. Sunnis also need to reform the part of our religion that holds respect for Muawiyah and Yazid. Because Shias will never accept that.
Nowhere was there any hate or division in this entire lecture. Rather, he is calm and respectful and stressed the importance of not letting our differences be the cause of corruption in our relationships (with people of a different school or even religion). Perhaps you missed parts of the lecture. Lastly, his references came from Sunni books. It is inconceivable to revere anyone that was responsible for the pain, physical wounds and death of Bibi Fatimah Zahra A.S. and we leave the judgement to Allah. I do agree with you, that Shias and Sunnis need to be united and I am happy to say that in 30 years of attending lectures, this is all I hear from the lecturers /mullahs.
