Wow! What a small world. You're now teaming up with Pat. He's been one of my fave youtubers for a long time. I'm really pleased for you. And it's great to see the popularity of your channel going up bit-by-bit. Congrats
The prices are not too bad where I am. Also, depends on where you go and which area you're in. One big thing is quality. Seen lots of BGTV's (boys and girls on tourist visas) making vids and eating the cheapest lowest quality street food they can find Pad krapaw 20 baht videos etc. A seasoned expat can easily tell the difference between low quality and decent quality street food. I'd rather pay a bit more and get good quality food than settle for uncle somchais's old fried moggy
Has the portions gotten a bit smaller despite some prices may still be reasonable or have gone up? I still think prices are still very reasonable compared to other countries
The size is still the same, the price hasn’t changed too much over the past couple of years, if you eat these dishes in a mall you can expect to pay double the price
I know you guys are eating very well for so little $$. Our food budget here in California is around $2500 to $3000 a month for 2 adults and 2 kids lol..that is not eating out food either.@@Paul_G_Eats
there are still a few left with prices like these in central bangkok but its not as relaxing or clean atmospheres. However, prices have went up after the pandemic, its sad !
About the grilled and steamed food: Is it still hot, or will it be heatened up at the stall, or should one take it home and put it into the microwave? Or can all those dishes be eaten "cold"? I mean, I would like to try the salted grilled fish, but I don´t know how to approach such a delicate topic! 😀

They are usually hot when you buy, it can be eaten cold I guess, but like you said there’s nothing wrong with putting it in the microwave
