“My name is Mrs. Lisa Marie Presley-Jackson". (...)
“Her father [Elvis] used to bring her to catch our show where all nine of us [Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Maureen ‘Rebbie’, LaToya and Janet, then 8] were performing… It was a real family show - the only family show in Las Vegas which allowed children to come.”
“Elvis would bring his daughter, Lisa Marie. She would sit right in the front and bodyguards would be right there. Afterwards, she would be escorted backstage and I would meet her and we would talk. This happened quite often. She would come again, again and again. It was quite an event.”After that, I didn’t see her for quite a while. You know, it was like ships passing in the night - hello and goodbye.”
    Mj Ebony 1994.

@Monica: Elvis was never in a Jackson Five concert. Not even with his daughter. Lisa never said that either. It is repeatedly claimed wrong by Jackson fans. It would be a wrong ingredient if it really stood in Mj Ebony 1994.

Lisa Marie is one of the luckiest girls in the world. The two most talented men I know in the world. Both of them loved the ground she walked on.💕

Somewhere on UA-cam Elvis introduces the Jackson Five to his audience. Maybe someone can find it. I’ve seen so many Elvis (My Man) videos but I’m sure I heard it.

The doors opened and Elvis stepped in, slicked hair and sparkling jumpsuit with high collar, a thick towel around his neck. He looked at Jackie and Michael. “You’re those Jackson boy?” he asked.
They nodded, dumbstruck. You’d think that once you’d met the likes of Smokey Robinson, Sammy David Junior and Jackie Wilson, nthing could faze you, but the randomness of that shared elevator ride was the biggest unexpected thrill. Not that it lasted long. Seconds later, the doors opened again and Elvis was on his way. “Good luck, fellas!” he said. That was the day Michael met the future father in law he would never know.
    Jermaine Jackson.

He did one of Elvis' dance moves during the Don't Stop Til' You Get Enough live performance from the HIStory Tour. I think they were from the Jailhouse Rock music video.

@Monica: There are no real facts about Elvis and Michael Jackson having met at some point. Elvis and Jackson never met. Although others like to claim it. Lisa Marie was always followed by bodyguards when she went to a Jackson Five concert. For safety reasons, Elvis has never shown himself publicly with his daughter. The story with the elevator is implausible and wrong. For safety reasons, in the 1970s (Las Vegas concerts), his bodyguards never allowed anyone else to ride in the elevator. Elvis received several death threats in the 70s.

Miss Lisa Marie you are the missing piece to my life's puzzle.I used to take so much flack for being " the badass wild one" and I have finally met a real woman who can hold her own, anywhere, any time, any place. There has never ever been a girlfriend who was so impressive, artistic, truthful, and gifted enough to give the crowd a run for their money. I was so blown away by your Celtic drumming and know that your autobiography has to be done by ghostwriters from the Mystic Emerald Isle. Listening to your music is truly healing my heart and I believe that scripting your life story will be the ultimate way for you to rise up like "a phoenix from the ashes". Sending you a "whole lotta love" from snowy Canada. Ancient rituals and divine timing are coming to fruition. Blessings and "may the wind always be at your back" (good luck Irish saying) but I'm sure you know by the name " Keough."

@@TheUnderCoverMother2020 In the spiritual realm she is vibrant, beautiful, set free and beaming with joy. She loves her children and can observe and embrace the everyday changes from above. When I saw her emotional response to Austin Butler's Golden Globes moving tribute to her late father, I witnessed a change in her metaphysically. It was apparent that she had transformed and ascended. It was a heart wrenching blow when her only son was mortally wounded accidentally in a gun mishap. Lisa Marie was still grieving and traumatized by it, as experts say the worst pain is suffered by the surviving family. My prayers are that Priscilla Beaulieu be sheltered from long standing grief and be surrounded with a supportive relationship with all of her children and grandchildren.Graceland is the final resting place which is reassuming its formal importance in the Presley legacy. Lisa Marie was a loving mother, talented musician/ singer/songwriter who respected her parents by keeping their love story alive. She shall be remembered as the honourable representative of Elvis Aaron Presley at the official site of Graceland.I am grateful for the opportunity and happiness which she brought to my life by sharing her music for my playlist and being a true friend to me in the last year of her life.I miss her so much but am confident she is in a peaceful state of bliss with dearly departed loved ones.RIP sweet Lisa Marie from one of your greatest fans, Simone Marie.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👑👑👑👑👑👑👑

I was mad to have missed out, but some years later, back in Nevada, I found myself in a hotel - can’t remember which one - and spotted Elvis’ right hand man, Colonel Tom Parker, amid a cloud of cigar smoke. He was a legend: the manager of all managers. Bespectacled and rotund, with his trademark red scarf around his double chin, he was sitting at a restaurant table near the casino. I dared to venture over and say hi. Before I knew it, we were sitting down, talking all matters Elvis and the Jackson 5, as 20 year old me pretended to puff on one of his big ass cigars. He was fascinated by Mother and Joseph. “Tell me, how did they produce all that talent in just one family? That’s what I wanna know,” he said, probably working out the commission percentages in his head and multiplying it by nine.
When he asked me to fire at him any question about Elvis - and after I had found out that The Kind loved doughnuts and the blues group Muddy Waters (not to be confused with the artist) - I couldn't resist asking the one thing that had always intrigued me: “Is it true that you split everything 50:50 with Mr Elvis?”
He laughed at my audacity. “Yeah.” He let out another thick swirl of smoke.
I was still pretty green about all matters business but even I was thinking Elvis must be mad to give away half his earnings but Colonel Parker was shrewd. He sat there all relaxed but commanding - like he owned the very spot were we were seated - and we spoke about how much of a partnership he’d shared with Elvis, how trust was everything in this business, and how Elvis set the bar as the hardest working man he knew. Later, when I told the brothers about this inspirational meeting, Michael only wanted to know one thing: “Did you ask him if Jackie Wilson was one of his favourites?” Now there was a question I should have asked. “Because it sure looks like he stole his moves!” he joked.
We did find out one thing about Colonel Parker: Elvis’ six year old daughter was a “big Jackson 5″ fan, who had already seen us perform, she’d attended a show with one of her father’s backing singers. Years later, someone said that she was brought backstage to meet us.
    Jermaine Jackson.

On this day in 1974, Lisa Marie Presley, age 5, met Michael Jackson, age 11, for the first time in Las Vegas after a performance by the Jackson 5.
Elvis had taken his daughter to watch the group. . . 20 years later . . . The two would wed on May 18, 1994 in the Dominican Republic.

Lisa Marie was born in 1968 so if she was five that would be 1973. Jermaine Jackson said on Larry King Live that him and his brothers all met Elvis in an elevator in Vegas. He said they just stared at him and Elvis said something alongside the lines of, "Oh you Jackson Boys." Jermaine also said they were fans of his and "Watched all of his movies." I think once Michael released Thriller however he refrained from mentioning Elvis because he didn't want to look like he's second best. Michael once mentioned Elvis during Chuck Berry's AMA Tribute to which he quoted John Lennon and said, "John Lennon once said, Elvis was my idol and Chuck Berry my teacher. What a wonderful thing to say. We all love you Chuck Berry."
