do you prefer Extreme Speed or Dragon Dance in Outrage?
Depends on the matchup
Exspeed if there are more ranged Mons and that can run fast
i'd say it's difficult to pick a move on matchup since extreme speed and dragon dance don't need the same items. you want to run rfs on extreme speed to be more effective
i always go with dragon dance tho, not only because it's stronger early game but because i can choose between hbeam or outrage instead
I think as a melee you need as many stuns and tankiness as you can get, you have quite enough sustained damage, so x speed for me

There’s a lot of situations like this where draft in rank is going to make things so much better. You’ll be able to know which move set and item combination is better before the game starts because you’ll know the enemy team composition.

Dragon dance allows you to chase down attackers easier. Once you start hitting, the cooldown shortens and you can bounce around
How is it EASIER to use a move that has 3 different patterns vs a point and click one? Please explain
Only if the attackers just run and never stay in you espeed range which makes all autoattackers useless. A smart player will just dash away when you use ddance because you also have to activate outrage. With espeed they have to stay put of espeed range which is about the same as their auto attk range. With ddance you will have to apply red buff with non outrage basic attacks(or eject button with lightning basic) to reduce it's cd and catch up to them. Espeed also gives a extra use of your passive to give a bit more survivability. Sure you can't disengage with espeed but sometimes you can just smash their Frontline to pieces
I've played a decent bit of both moves with outrage, and genuinely Chris your spot on. Both are sweet in different scenarios and it's defo E speed for squishys and D dance for anything with serious health (would also D dance against a healer though, can still dive in with unite but can actually deal with the enemies after)

I play a fair bit of outrage dragonite, i always go espeed but you gave an interesting perspective on dd. Il give it a go. Dragonite does have a big problem disengaging at times.
I'm tellin u bro u gotta use Drain Crown on this build, it makes a world of difference and lets you stay in the fight way longer
They both have their benefits. The attack speed/damage increase and ability to move around without a target is nice on Dragon Dance. But also being able to get on top of an enemy with targeted Extreme Speed and resetting your passive for more survivability is nice too.
I think on paper Dragon Dance is better but they both can perform well depending on enemy team composition. I wish they both had the same cooldown. For all that Dragon Dance gives, I'm not sure why Extreme Speed's cooldown is 1.5 secs longer.
That’s definitely a draft issue if my teams tankier then I can adjust held items to suit DD better but overall ES just clears DD in about every way. DD is barely an escape and honestly that’s what Dnites unite is for to either:
-fully commit to engage
Or
-safely escape losing battles
ES just helps you win most encounters and the tanky buffs on top of his multiscale passive just slaps. If I need more dps I’m just running x attack or rapid fire if not both maybe.
Do they have the same mechanism/effect regarding the effects of the boosted attack?
its always e.speed for me. my item choice is buddy barrier with amplifier though, and I always do a close range unite. Not sure if its the right play style, but serving me fine

i guess when ur oppo team is full of attackers and speedsters, extreme speed is better for just rushing and stunning ur opponents and then finishing them with outrage whereas for a high hp opponent team like defenders and all rounders dragon dance is better with all the buffs it provides

I go dragon dance with scope,muscle,rapid and X attack. I go top lane making enemies follow me and then pop my unite to ray and delete ray in 5 seconds(before they even get to centre). Lmao it worked quite a few times smh. Shit works in master 1600.

U can block it but the person ur saving should have a bit of distance so the splash damage doesnt hit them

All builds except Extreme Speed Hyper Beam are great on Dragonite
I main Extreme Speed for the stun. Outrage already has a great rotating stun, and if the enemy tries to run, extreme speed stuns them. Also being tanky is great. I run Cursed band so they don't heal as much, weakness policy because Dragonite is up close and personal. The extra damage while using Outrage is pretty awesome. And lastly, scope lens. My Dragonite frequently hits 1300 to 1600 critical's with almost every attack, while using Outrage. He has been my main Mon for getting to Master's for the last 5 seasons. 6 white, 6 brown, and 6 blue (defense).
your build sounds good, i will try it because i want to explore some alternatives for Dragonite. I usually play it with the items you can find on the unite db page. Which set of emblems do you recommend to use with the build you say?

The emblems are:
6 blue
6 white
6 brown
Gyarados, Quagsire, Piloswine, Kabutops, Aerodactyl, Mantine, Ho-Oh, Pidgeot, Kangashan, Poliwrath
@@paulatreides1419 and the battle item? Which do you recommend to use with the build? Because without the muscle band and rapid scarf the outrage will be pretty slow
@@johnnyfast3914 Sure, thing. I've had tremendous luck and fun with:
Cursed Bangle (reduces enemy healing, while your Outrage boosted attacks heal you a lot).
Weakness Policy (the more damage you take, the more damage you deal. The more damage you deal, the faster the enemy's die and you gain HP).
Scope Lens (HUGE Critical Hits. Huge. Anywhere from 2 to 4 hits will knock out low HP mon's. The huge HP hits will be very noticeable on defenders as they also cant heal due to cursed bangle).
Held Item: A lot of people don't like this, but I use Potion. The extra healing helps when I am fighting more than one enemy at the same time.
I mainly use the Unite Move for mobility. If I need to get out of a losing fight, or get across the map to help a teammate, I will just unite to that area, covering 1/4 of the map in 1 second. I rarely use the unite move as an actual attack.
As for the attack speed concern you mentioned, I've had no issue here. Rapid Fire Scarf goes on cool down so in longer fights I noticed it spends more time on cooldown. Weakness Policy, Scope Lens and Cursed Bangle as always active.
Try it out and see if you like it. I've tried various builds but this one has stuck. It's at the point where if I swap anything out I feel like I nerfed my own Dragonite
Hey@@paulatreides1419 got some news. I did it really well with the build. Got a fight against a scizor and a trevenant on my base and i won. It didn't matter the scizor haz the bullet punch build he couldn't heal. I found a little weak point, and if there is a team with 3 attackers, the thing would get complicated, it can be fixed if you use full heal instead of potion.
I prefer E-speed except if against fly talonflame.
Extreme speed is much easier to play and better reach but ddance have a better win rate on UniteApi. I like dragonite but sometimes feels like all enemy team is focus on you while your tank is doing nothing

No it would not. The whole point of the move is to have a tracking approach option. Otherwise it would be a worse dragon dance

2024, people still couldn't decide when to do Ray, just absurd.
Go dragon dance, against too much cc or too many melees. Go extreme speed of there is a long ranged attacker.
While both are good, especially in the current state of the game, i value the stronger level 5 gank more

E speed is more Unga Bunga and let's be honest that's why you're playing outrage in the first place.
Build?
Imma be honest I think Dragon Dance is much better because its a free-target dash instead of a point and click one. Extreme Speed requires you to know when its safe to engage, and you're rewarded with a knock up plus damage reduction on the account of resetting Multiscale
But, with Dragon Dance, we get more Attack Speed, up to 24% bonus Attack, and a short Movement Speed bonus that lets you kite in and out of fights, as well as dodging skillshots with the Dragon Dance dash. Plus it gives a more practical buff to Dragonite's autos when you're not Outraged, and sometimes you dont want to start fights in melee range, or it just helps you farm faster compared to Extreme Speed
So honestly I think its a playstyle difference, Extreme Speed to go all in hard commit and Dragon Dance for more general application.
Extreme Speed has more tools to dictate and take a team fight and will make u tankier. That reliable stun and Multiscale reset is what makes ESpeed so good with Outrage. DNite is not that tanky and would be blown to bits immediately if he initiates a DDance into the opposing team or will just be kited by longer ranged and faster Pokemon.
@@user-gc7bg5gy9v Dragonite would be blown to bits regardless of having Espeed or Ddance if it gets hit by cc while engaging, at least with Ddance you can *dodge* skillshots or get out of the way of bodies like Surf Blastoise or Slowbro
Also Outrage already has a reliable stun, Electric auto then cast Outrage again for a 1.2s chain cc, plus Ddance lets you cycle that stun faster.
Yes I know Dragonite needs the Multiscale reset to stay alive, but honestly it doesnt have 100% uptime and its going to get kited regardless of move. And like I said, Espeed is a targetted dash, if someone's running away from you, at least Ddance can gap close better on top of the bonus movement speed
