- I picked up the new Need For Speed Heat on the release day and got a chance to play it. They put some of the old cars back in the game, like the M3 GTR and Eddie's R34. In this video i'll be driving around in Rachel's Nissan 350z from NFS Underground 2, while you can hear 'Riders on the Storm' in the background for a true nostalgic moment. Enjoy!

NFS underground should be remastered ..Miss the races , tuning , Using Hummer H3 for racing , Photograph on magaZines. .So much 2 do beside racing....Driving with the song black Betty in the background..Increasing ur speed with the beats..And the ultimate glossy night street aura..Just awesome
I don’t know if EA can really remaster (or was the appropriate word “Remake”?) NFSU2. Knowing them, they’ll probably ruin it.

True Story: when I was 3 years old, I first saw the gameplay of NFS Underground 2 my cousin had the copy when it first dropped I ain't gonna lie the game itself looks kinda nostalgic seeing the customization of the cars is pretty cool when I played it at 8 years old in 2009 it was a bit tough on the GameCube.
Now I'm 20 years old and I STILL play Underground 2 on the PS2.

You know something in this video made me realise that the last games of the franchise take the name "Need for speed" too literally.
NFS isn't about taking 390 km/h with every overboosted car and crashing into every civilian and wall at Match 2 like degerate.
It's about really cool car, custom or not, racing, drifting , crusing day and night but with some classy atmosphere.
the lastest games force you to make an overpowered build for your car in order to compite.
this lead to a game where you can no longer appreciate the city and the revving of your car because you're already at max speed and outside the city the second you step on the gas.
to simply put it, a lower top speed, more traffic, more skill to drive, will be much enjoyable than some beetle going at the speed of light
It's insane how much nostalgia this song brings to me. Like NFS underground was just a small part of my childhood but the nostalgia wave hits so hard!

The gosh dang nostalgia this track gives me. NFS U2 was a huge part of my childhood along with a few other racing games. But U2 is probably my favorite. Just so many good memories playing that game. And honestly I think NFS Heat is the closest they’ve come to recapturing some of that old magic in the NFS series.

There's just something about NFSU2 and NFSMW that just defined an era of gaming. I remember spending hours trying to get that perfect DVD or magazine cover shot in U2 and trying to escape to a cooldown zone from the cops in MW with four busted tires lol
