I play Terra Tech myself and I know how much time it takes to get things and build things.so if a video is les perfect I think it can happen and as long as you take this amounts of time for your vids, they are good for at least me. Re:railgun vehicle -- as soon as I saw it with all 3 tiers, I thought 'put some helicopter rotors behind it and make it fly!', but that's prolly the Robocraft player in me. You could probably redesign a bit and just have a surface on the underside of a helicopter covered with railguns and it'd work pretty well. Re:weird biome -- the trade station you stopped at had numerous blue, green, and orange resources.. be a pretty good spot to set up a mining operation.
In case you are still doing FTD Tests: v2.2.27 [Add] : Spin blocks in motion now create propulsive forces when they hit the ground- this allows large rubber wheels and some styles of walkers to be made [FTD-265]
I think you were very generous with your sumation of the railguns. True they can work really well.. in mass, ideal vehicle positioning and a target that has a weakness for it. So... not good! Enjoyed the video though! Keep em comming.
What about land superbattleship? A thing with shippy shape (not a guncube and rather long than wide) with few of the biggest shootey things and billions of medium and small guns everywhere. It should be capable of just sitting in the pile of enemies and killing them!

I really think some part that you can place on the vehicle that extends the lockon range would make railguns more viable, since you can hardly ever make use of their full range normally. (On the other hand it might have to specifically not work with missiles so they don't become stupidly overpowered.)

Are the railguns good for not destroying a huge amount of blocks? My world has huge techs so I just launch my volley of like 30 cruise missiles and its done xD Also, the you should do a build with the sonic weapon, its insane xD
These never get through, but... If you are worried about the rugger terrain. You could make a craft like this with just 1 wheel? then balance it upright with a gyro. :)

For me the rails are nerfed by the fact they are specifically for long range damage yet you can't lock on to anything at long range. The locking on mechanic should adapt to the weapons on the craft i.e. if you can shoot long range then lock on at long range; if you only have little pew-pews then only lock on when they can hit the enemy. That would take their potential up so much.
@Lathland can you tell me how you get the updates earlier than i do? I still havent gotten the update Also if you can post your railgun creation 9:46 in the workshop and ill find a way to finish it and make it look awesome

Also, after you're done building a tech for every experimental weapon, you have to build one big tech that uses all of them. :)

That’s how railguns work, their primary advantage is that their projectiles move at three times the speed as conventional ones

You should be able to lock on at any range but weapons just have different ranges themselves.
Make a tiny battleship with the rails as turrets and have internal tracks from Geocorp

He's using the experimental branch so that everything that comes out is tested through there before being put into the actual game.

I can help with the lock-on conundrum. PC is middle mouse, PS4 is R3, and Xbox should be the same as Playstation.
Use the drone at the very beginning of the video add some Hawkeye railguns and it will be the perfect defence drone
