Could you unscrew the arms and possibly rotate the middle joints by 90° before reassembling? If it's possible, that would give you proper elbow joints.

What I'm trying to say is, this set is pretty Mega, Man. Also I love how Burn Rooster appears literally out of left field. 10/10.
