Its a solid game, but i am not surprised it was overlooked and overshadowed by others, the combat really is the only thing that stands out. I am really worried about the sequel, because so far it looks like remaster with better graphics and few new vocations.
They’re not showing much else but have shown more if you dig. There’s a super deep affinity system. You can develop unique relationships with npcs, and the npcs build relationships with eachother. You can have a house I’d imagine a wife or husband. I think there is going to be a lot of depth in the world, the inspiration is from gta v, so you can imagine the amount of crazy stuff that will just happen
@@rocketdurham4926 i hope so, tbf i only watched the trailer and few of the vocations showcases, didnt dig deeper as you said, but the first DD was really shallow and mid in all aspects beside combat so again i do hope they ll deliver some substantial improvements
So i buying dg 2 so yeah you can still play the game looks better then the most switch games xD so its cool a nice story and cost not much money but its hard to play it since 22.
The answer to anyone who likes RPGS is yes, if you haven't played Dragon's Dogma, you should play it to learn how little every other title tried to make good combat. People who knock it have literally no clue what good gameplay is or are dishonest trolls.
This is annoyingly arrogant. I like DD combat, but I'm not so biased that I can't recognize it's not for everyone. Magic is a fun spectacle, but the mechanics are very boring. It's lock on and watch shiny ball go towards enemy, not exactly revolutionary. Melee combat is good, but there's no built-in dodge roll or block, which some people aren't going to like and that's valid. The combat is more like a slugging match between the player and monsters, basically requiring a healer in your party. Climbing monsters is fun though.
@@TheBigMeetchyou don’t have to get hit ever with any class, if you rely on a slugging match in BBI, you will lose everytime. Each class takes skill to master
Wasn't sure if I should play Dragon's Dogma first or Dragon Age Inquisition. Turned out DAI is actually so much better but I definitely will try Dragon's Dogma 2.
I started playing this again to create several pawns and immediately got sucked back in hard. I’m simultaneously playing through three different campaigns to craft the perfect team of pawns.
great video, underrated content for sure!
Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
'Should you play one the of the best action rpgs ever made'
What a difficult question. Takes a real genius to figure that one out.
My Pawn made your video 😊 !!!
He actually sounds like a pawn.
That's awesome, Which one is yours?
the story made sense was amazing, cool video.
I chose to play this over Skyrim and I have no regrets never picking up Skyrim.
I loved Fallout3 and 4 though.
Skyrim still amazing. This is to skyrim as the last if us is to uncharted
U should be playing it from January to march 22

@@0lcer I’m actually sticking with one for 10/15 levels then circling around like that. So it isn’t too much of a pain in the ass.
Duh
I bought this recently because of all the great reviews. Awful game, absolutely awful and a total waste of money. I paid £2.99 for it.
Haha you funny
fortnite might be more suitable for you
