Anything that makes me feel 12 years old again is AOK.
Thank you, Irwin Allen, for giving us Wonderful Childhoods - even as adults!
Another solid episode beautifully cleaned up, thanks Tooleman.
When I was a kid I would role play and do my own version of voyage to the bottom of the sea and Lost in Space. That's how much imagination I had as a kid enjoying these shows
Great way to end the weekend: thanks for the usual high quality.
How many times has Sharkey been shot???
And always in the left shoulder area
He's taking his lumps this season, and he's got more coming next year...
Cleaned and ironed picture quality...It's Fantastic!
Could have used a touch more fabric softener.
No,that would have made the picture quality way too soft.
Wow I loved this show back in the 60s!
I love it at the end when the Admiral comes to his senses after causing total chaos and murderous intent by having a go at the Captain ' Who's responsible for all this' the look on the Captain's face. 😅😅
He was fakin' it :) just like your dog when you ask him who made this mess
They want the admiral seized and confined to his quarters. I should think that would be a bit difficult since Chip just blew the handle/lock off the door.
They could weld the door shut with that super duper pack welder they use from time to time. I would think they all would be kinda hard of hearing because they are always capping .45 rounds off inside that sub.
@@SSN515 I hadn't thought of that. LOL! You're right about the hearing thing, too.
@@SSN515They could swap the lock with another door, or even swap the doors, perhaps there is an area which doesn't require a door for a bit.
Even Bruce Lee would have a hard time trying to defeat Admiral Nelson.
The voice of who Emerald Nelson's talking to sounds like the same actor who did follow the leader on lost in space in the episode second where they went to trial but judge.I forgot his name but he has been around a lot of shows in the past what was his name
I mean he played the scientist helping with doug what the actor named who played the scientist on time tunnel third episode
42:12 My boy Patterson helps save the day!
Just viewed episode, steaming from cell phone to large screen TV. (For some reason your new episodes aren't on TV You Tube, but are on cell phone You Tube.) Wow, what a picture. Colors are more than vibrant. The picture quality is reminiscent of direct to video tape clarity-crystal clear, well delineated. It's as if you can reach out and touch the action on the Seaview! Thank you, TooleMan! The shots of Seaview underwater, all underwater shots, are like 3D!
You are welcome! Be sure to check the Voyage playlists on my channel. I don't know why the TV app doesn't show the latest posts.
The Voyage nerds (including myself) think the later Voyage episodes were shot on better film stock than season two, which explains the more vibrant color. It's possible the negatives of the later episodes are better-preserved. And I learned a few things since I worked with season two. Whatever the case, it's a beautiful production!
Excellent quality.
I'm just loving the Admirals watch I wonder what make it is, obviously it can go under water! 38.50
Love the intro.
Looks Fantastic as always!! Thanks! I just wish there wasn’t some minutes cut out of the original episodes running times!! It’s sorta like re-Directing the episodes and not as they were originally aired or envisioned!! So i wouldn’t mind getting the episodes in full and uncut with the SD Footage that was excised put back in and I know I’m not the only one who feels that way!! So with your expertise and experience with editing it would not be hard for you to do imo!! And shouldn’t this Awesome show be preserved how it originally was shown!!
Thanks and again I appreciate what you do and I’m not trying to be nitpicky or negative just stating my opinions on this!!
Brilliant! The theme tune is an incredibly clever and descriptive piece. You could play the music to someone blindfolded who had never heard it before and they would know what kind of programme to expect!
That was an awful long 8 minutes before the reacter was suppose to go ka-boom. A little more urgency on the part of Crane snd the others. And a little more of the residual affects as far as being shot (Chief) and the Captain getting knocked out twice. He should have a headache or his head bandaged . Something convincing.😮😮😮
What got me is that they seemed to have forgotten the reactor blowing it's gasket when the Admiral was coming to his senses! 🤔
Loss of consciousness per person average in this episode was at least 2.5, they would have more brain damage than a boxer :)
Toole, I didn't know an episode was coming on tonight, I was looking for the notification all week and did not find it. So sorry to have missed the chat with the crew, I so look forward to it. Thank you for posting, I'll just have to enjoy it by my lonesome.
Was the judge on the episode where the monsters trial? The robinson's fifth episode second season
Voice? Yes, likely Gregory Morton.
OK who noticed at 40.34 the Captain is going down the corridor with a rifle, then at 40.42 he has only got a hand gun. 🤔
Good catch!
Yes...the "Destroy Seaview" episode seemed a notch above in quality by Irwin Allen and Justus Addiss. Not the plot( strange how we never had a clue about Nelson's brainwashing), but the sets, color, sound, cinematography and detail in the episode were notable.
True enough. Basic Saturday Serial but it LOOKS GREAT.
Blow up your submarine Admiral, but never blow up the lovely Captain now that is a big no no!
Or shoot Sharky!
@@mariakelly90210 Yeah! that in all.
Incredible how they do some episodes with people being grain washed
And this sounds crazy but I think he also did an episode of the twilight zone where he did a voice for those biker aliens with the eye
The 3 bikers who pretend to be earthlings, but they rarely end up wanting to take all the water out and kill everybody and poison everybody. That was the voice of the follow the leader. I believe also, the girl that played in the show. Up to the Twilight Zone, was that singer? And actress who played on the coach
An ok episode. Not one of the best. But decent. There's really no bad episode's. Like with Lost in Space. Watchable. It's a Sunday tradition we Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, fan's look forward to watching, a new posted episode, thanks to you TooleMan.
Basic Saturday Serial Matinee fare here for the old Sunday 7pm timeslot where the kids had a choice between Voyage, Lassie and Walt Disney. Sustained by these vibrant colors and non stop action. As TV Guide once said, "an underwater Buck Rogers", and in that it delivers.
Blimey! that sub must of been white hot with radiation after all that.💥
That was really intelligent; Kowalski tracts the signal to the Admiral's cabin and then knocks on the door.
I would have contacted Chip Morton immediately and returned back with a security detail.
Yeah, but he thought the Admiral was cool, outranked him, and Nelson does some weird stuff even normally without explanation, so there's that, I suppose
Interesting point...
He was on time tunnel the voice playing a scientist 3 episodes haley comet
Yes, that's him!
NOW I know what your videos look like.....they look like the old ViewMaster 3D pictures that were printed in great quality on a circular card that you would insert into a ViewMaster viewing device. The pictures I remember were as spectacular as your video presentation. You could see every detail and the sensation of depth in the picture makes it seem as if
" you are there". Do you use some sort of 3D method when you restore the Voyage episodes?
Another cracking episode thanks for posting.
Is that Toshio?
It is him
Looks like the Admiral has been got at again 😮
They should have a standard troubleshooting checklist, with point 1 being, check if admiral and / or captain is being impersonated, possessed, brainwashed, or is actually a robot :)
@@PRH123 Absolutely 🤔
Gosh, I don`t remember this one either. Awesome.
1:38 Uh-oh!
This one was poorly written. There was no setup to how admiral Nelson ended up being hypnotized. Made no sense until the end.
Close-of-the-Season "bottle show" with limited budget; all action had to take place on the basic sets, thus no off-sub exposition.
LOOK I APPRECIATE YOUR WORK
