The Pizzeria & Trattoria al 22 was born in 1935 in the center of Naples, in the heart of Pignasecca, and is undoubtedly a pizzeria with the genuine quality of the past; The pizza is not a cartwheel and the direct dough with fior di latte or Agerola provola makes it a simple and digestible pizza that melts in the mouth.
Today the Pizzeria & Trattoria at 22 bears the name of Giovanni Improta, the third generation of Pignasecca pizza makers who, in addition to managing the place together with his father Federico, also hold the position of teacher for the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana with which he brought the Neapolitan pizza around the world holding seminars from Brazil to Australia.
