Crafting a simple yet effective closure using d-rings
Adding a loop for your belt and adjusting the size to fit your style.

"exactly the project you've been looking for" "posted 40 seconds ago" oh hi! fancy seeing this video here lol
Saddle stitch! I always wondered how exactly this look was accomplished and the whole "two needles" thing never occurred to me. I literally heard a level-up sound in my head when you explained/showed it so clearly and it clicked.
I now immediately need to acquire some leather or thick fabric so I can employ this technique. Thanks Ash!
Carry your phone like a mideval peasant or a midwestern dad at the hardware store.
Your multi-colored cardigan is *amazing*. Did you make it? (The pouch is also really cool, obvs.)
Also a good use for an old pair of jeans
Yeah I think denim would work great!
I've had the same though but I can't bring myself to cut them out
All hail the UA-cam gods!
Have another comment as a sacrifice! All hail!
YES! This is the inspiration I needed. As usual, both entertaining AND useful. ❤
No boiled wool but some other thicker fabric can surely be found around here somewhere 🤔 I love me a good pouch or bag, sadly I haven't any really good belt that fits me at the moment... Well, well, just another reason to try many different types and sizes of pouches right? 😉😁 Thank you for a great tutorial.
*Plots a possible unicorn canvas pouch*
Irrelevant to the content as a whole... I couldn't help wincing as you were cutting out because your scissors had a slight burr. Next shot, you'd changed to a new pair. I hope you manage to sharpen the first pair with not problems!
thank you for these videos!! I made the skirt from your video and I am loving this new hobby :D
Great idea for my mom. She has everything but a good pouch for shopping. Thank you 😊
Your description of how you did backstitch just changed my life!
Ooh I have some boiled wool left over from my brother's greatcoat! What a great idea 👀
Thank you for the vid. I think I have some good bits of fabric laying around.
I have several leather belt pouches that I use with my viking kit (not all at the same time) sat on my tablet woven belt. Need to make a smaller one for everyday use cos sometimes side seam pockets in winter coats are in totally the wrong place when using a wheelchair. And dont have inside pocklets like my denim jackets have.
🦋🪼all hail the algorithm
I have a rather small belt bag with velcro closure, but this looks more cool.
Ooh this is lovely. Adding it to the project queue. Gotta get a belt though 😅
❤

Great idea. The saddle stitch was a great idea too! I think I will rethink the pouch I have planes for the kids.
That’s so handy! Thank you for sharing your methods. I’m so happy to have discovered your page 🫶
