I don't hate Tommy. Anyone who met him, says he was an absolutely lovely guy. Don't get me wrong, he was an impressive guitar player, he had some great color in his playing, did a fine ole job on Purple's 'Come Taste the Band'. I just reckon he couldn't cut it on stage with Purple.. perhaps they were a little too structured for him, plus they had a huge and loyal fanbase, who really knew their catalog. I know Tommy suffered a lot at the hands of the Blackmore faithfuls, that's unfortunate.

I had not seen this, Chrissie and the Boys do a phenomenal version. That's how you show respect to the writer yet make it your own.
