Using "oh I was alone with them and they didn't kill me " is such a poor reasoning. The imposter would obviously gain your trust so that you can defend them if possible
Also there’s kill cooldown, which was actually why Josh didn’t kill Talia. You can use that reasoning to be less suspicious of someone but you can’t use it to completely rule them out.
