One month later, the dog found its way home, lost half of its weight. We were really surprised because it’s a 2 hour drive. No one has the heart to leave it to anywhere else any more. My uncle in law build a big dog house in the yard so it has more space to itself. It’s been keeping mailman always ever since.

I have athsma and I'm also now a dog owner. One of the ways people who have athsma can keep cats/dogs is sleep on separate room and always, always, always, always vacuum places where your dogs/cats mostly spend time at to reduce the chance of inhaling fine strands of furs. I DO have to give my cat away because cat's fur is too fine and it can easily be inhaled while dog's fur are relatively coarser strand and longer. I miss my cat to this day 🥺🥺. Pets are more than animals, they're life companions.

I'm curious if air filter isn't strong enough or if her asthma is that severe... Some people start keeping their dog outside as alternative but some might find it cruel to a house dog after how long indoors (maybe that's why she gave him away?).
just don't sleep in the same room as the dog or let it in there and most of the problem will likely go away. I somehow don't buy that reason. It seems strange that after 8 years the situation suddenly became unbearable. As I see it, getting a pet is a heavy responsibility, and there is no justification for abandoning one after that long.

My aunt once drove her dog back to her countryside house and wanted to keep it there with my grandpa who hated the city, thinking grandpa would appreciate the company and the dog has more space to run around. One month later, the dog found its way home, lost half of its weight. We were really surprised because it’s a 2 hour drive. No one has the heart to leave it to anywhere else any more. My uncle in law build a big dog house in the yard so it has more space to itself. It’s been keeping mailman always ever since.
When everything was falling apart your dog will never leave you.
I used to have a German shepherd, but since we lived in an apartment my dad decided to leave him at my relatives' house and as we were leaving, after half an hour into our journey we saw that he has been running after our car the whole time... So its cool to see something similar happen
dude this is super sad tho
“I love you and am happy with you” without even saying the words😭The unconditional love and loyalty of dogs. 💝
Have three dogs and they are truly loveable and loyal companions.
I had a few dogs and they are truly loyal to you. Not once they did not waged their tail when they see you.
This is sad. At least Zhao and Saisai are okay.
i had a cat when i was 15, my parents took the cat to a shelter all the way out of town and i swear that cat came all the way back to the house not even 2 days later. Angel was the most beloved cat i had, until my neighbors decided to give it to a barn owner and i never saw that cat again.
I’m glad the original own found a way to manage both her asthma and pet loyal Saisai.
Unconditional love, even beyond death! It is said in many world cultures, that a dog will come at the moment of death, to help you cross safely, to the other side!
I hope this is true.
It's always the Shiba inu, who would show the utmost loyalty.
They are extremely independent - which makes this story even more touching.
I love my shiba but he sat and watched me freak out as a person tried to get into my apartment and I was on the phone with the police yelling at them to stop. Didn’t bark or anything! Luckily it was a confused deaf neighbor new to the area.
@@SuperNoseFace Could maybe sense the person wasnt a threat
@@SuperNoseFace Maybe that's why it didn't attack. He probably knew it was your neighbor
@AD2Lit I know all dogs are loyal, but if you have watched real life movies shiba inu are just on a different level of loyalty.
What a shame, that’s like giving a baby up for adoption when they’re ten.
what a shame you are not the owner.
If this dog could only talk and tell us about his journey and how much his mother meant to him, It would definitely be one of the sweetest, tear jerker movies😭
This reminds me of those movies where dogs would even journey across an entire country/state to reunite with their owner.
Homeward bound
I had a dog named Vicky did exactly the same. He ran to our home within 2days. This video brought back that memory. I forgot it completely
Fun Fact: Hachiko, the dog who kept returning every day to wait for his owner (who already passed away) in the Shibuya station for nine years, was a Shiba Inu too.
Hachiko was an Akita
@@fenrizulfr3051 Yeah, exactly
@@fenrizulfr3051 that is correct but they are still closely related, just one is slightly larger and bred for different things.
@@fenrizulfr3051 Ooooooof! You're right. I really thought he was a Shiba. 😅 Welp, there goes my fun fact. 😄
@@MeloiDeclines well they are absolutely similar, so your fact still holds
Unconditional love and loyalty, I can relate. What a wonderful world it would be if more people had hearts like dogs. ❤️
People want to feel the king of their home so a dog is a perfect excuse
@@Karincl7 nah
Tears, tears of joy. Thank you for keeping him again. Truly you must know now that he is very loyal to you.
Shiba Inu is the most loyal dog ever!
We don't deserve dogs... They love us unconditionally, that even human can't love that far.
Man's best friend indeed! This made me cry so much. Best wishes to them!
Owner: "I'm sorry Saisai. You can't live with me anymore."
Saisai: "We'll see about that."
There is a saying that
For us they are just 1 part of our life
But to them, you are they're life
They're not "just pets"
We are THEY'RE family too.
They just don't belong to us.
We belong to them.
And they feel like we are supposed to be WITH them.
We're supposed to be with each other
If they're family then the human does not belong to them. Consider them equal not above a human.
Eh they’re just pets
😢 I’m not even a dog person, but this got to me. Glad she’s going to keep him.
when i was child i got pet a baby dog but my mum through it away (for cultural issues) and after so many years he came back to me as a grown dog, he was really a lovely dog. they never forget the love you gave.❤
recently lost my own dog who was around that same age and watching this brought tears to my eyes. there's nothing like a dog's love!
It’s hard not to cry after watching this. What a beautiful story!
I’m tearing up already 😭
Imagine selling your dog, and having it come back to you every time. It’s free money 🤣

Those Types of Dogs are Extremely Smart ! This the the cutest thing ever 😭🥹♥️😁
Im crying, thank goodness he came back safely and no injuries whatsoever if not the owners would be heartbroken. Hopefully Saisai live a long life together with his lovely owner ❤️
I wonder how the pet owner will deal with her asthma though. It was said in the article that her asthma worsened because of dog hair.
I'm curious if air filter isn't strong enough or if her asthma is that severe... Some people start keeping their dog outside as alternative but some might find it cruel to a house dog after how long indoors (maybe that's why she gave him away?).
She build a kennel, so the dog can live outside the house.
just don't sleep in the same room as the dog or let it in there and most of the problem will likely go away. I somehow don't buy that reason. It seems strange that after 8 years the situation suddenly became unbearable. As I see it, getting a pet is a heavy responsibility, and there is no justification for abandoning one after that long.
@@simonphoenix3789 Asthmas and allergies can be pretty unpredictable though. I've heard cases like that where they were perfectly healthy but suddenly gained or worsened. Don't be so quick to judge. She clearly loves the dog and had the resources as well.
@@nikosaronim Yep. I never used to have hay fever, now I do. Same time every year.. Started after I began using antidepressants. 🤷♀️
Imagine everything she went through to get back home 🤧. Afraid, hungry, exhausted, lost, alone. Welcome home baby😭😭
Dogs truly never dissapoint wish people were as loyal
The lady realised that , shibu is the one who will only leave her until she die ... A dog 🐶 ... And her love ❤️
"Until a person loves an animal, a part of that person's soul remains unawakened"
My cat did this a couple weeks ago ! She walked what would have been a 30 minute drive. My three year old brother let her in, so you can imagine my surprise when she just walks up to me. We just decided to keep her
Not everyone deserves a dog but every dog deserves a owner
I'm a fan of the Shirosuki shiba channel and this makes me think Kenzo ran away to come back to Oliver lol.
Dogs are better than people. Always will be
Your friend not worth it to be a friend. You entrusted your dog to them yet the dog got neglected.
Dogs are the best. ❤️🐶
Yep. Yes they are.

Shocking
No I am best
Man best friend...
Bruh is it just me or shiba inu are loyal and literally will follow you till death like theres a real life base movie of a dog waiting for his owner (hachiko)
It's not just you. Shiba Inu's and Akita's are one of the most loyal dog breeds. And they are a only one owner kind of breeds. They will stick to just one single person for the rest of their lives, so if people get one of those breeds, then they have to stick with them and NOT give them away!

Find a man/woman that will love you as much as this dog loves their owner.
such an affectionate Shiba. Never seen so much love from one before.
Same thing happened to us when I was little my dad gave away our dog to one of his friends that lived like 2-3 hours away, she was back with us within the next week, she died of old age, she was 12/13 years old 💔 miss her alot- she was the best girl ❤️❤️
Loyalty is such a rare commodity between humans and it takes animals to remind us of our folly.
