And worked his way up to movies etc. yes he can be obnoxious with his fake laugh etc. but you can't say he didn't work for what he has.
So happy that Jimmy has them on the show every now and then. They deserve all the recognition they can get. They've worked hard to get where they are and they are genuinely great people. They stand out as some of the few popular youtubers that have actually built an empire from their show. They're constantly re-investing the money they make to give us a better viewing experience and great entertainment. Not just buying good cameras and lighting, but having a large team of producers, designers and writers as well I imagine, although I'm sure they are still very involved in the last part. They've approached their youtube channel in a very business-minded way, which is the best way to have a long-lasting, professional, successful and entertaining show. That mentality is what has also led them to exploring other avenues like podcasting, writing books, starring in their own youtube series (which was awesome btw) and having a vast array of clothing, grooming products and many other accessories on their website. They've even recently started a Mythical Society which awards it's members a bunch of different perks. This business mindset they have is the reason they've become so successful on youtube; not necessarily saying that is a requirement to be successful on youtube because it certainly isn't. There are many big UA-camrs that don't approach it in this way and are still massively successful (and I'm a fan of many of them). I'm just saying I feel Rhett and Link set themselves apart on this platform by the immense effort and commitment they put in their show. I'm not putting down other UA-camrs at all, I don't want people to think that. Rhett and Link only make up a small portion of my entertainment on UA-cam, I'm also a big fan of a number of others, I was just kind of analyzing the way they make their content I guess. I realise I probably around like I was paid to write this or something lol, but it's just cause I'm a bit fan of GMM, but more specifically of Rhett and Link. They've got great personalities, they're nice people and I feel they deserve every bit of attention they get because I feel they definitely deserve it. I've know about these guys for about 3 years and ive just recently got my girlfriend to watch them and we've already watched almost every episode. So happy to see these guys on Jimmy Fallon ^_^. They're so comfortable on stage they need to have there own talk show together.
They are both some fine, hilarious gentlemen who've made me laugh and it really seems like Jimmy genuinely loved chatting with them. It's great chemistry
