Did this yesterday and got to max rank in no time on a fresh toon.
Once you do this glitch, it stays active for every helltide until you logout or die. I noticed if you are in an event with the orange circle, they didnt seem to spawn. You need to keep moving around and attacking, dont just sit in one spot.
It still stays if you logout. its only if you die. Cause I had it yesterday, logged out, after work today came home and it was still stuck at max. Can switch around to different world tier levels as well.

They should make a permanent threat meter, constantly spawning elites with mindcage means a bit more difficulty in helltides.
Or an option to stack multiple mindcage! Players got 100s of them

This season I'm farming gear in helltide instead of living steel. Most uniques and uber uniques seams to be a dps loss. Even Ramalandi is a dps loss for WW. 2h mace is better now when we have full fury all the time.
in what interval do the monsters spawn? my bar is full but seems like monster spawn only every 15-45secs?
I think it scales with level and number of people in the area, not 100% sure tho
If in a party do both people log out?
I've been able to pull this off twice, but each time since, the xp bar goes from where I left the game back to 0 as of late.

i hope they make a way for us to lock the meter... this is sooo much fun. when you find other players who have meter locked it gets crazy. i always find a big grin on my face, and usually an audible 'holy shit'
been doing this all day on my druid. almost max with the iron wolves rep from just doing this solo in helltides for a few hours. and my druid is still only level 92 lol. he was like 41 not that many hours ago. this is absolutely awesome. so many legendaries!!

we need stronger helltides with insane world boss encounters(open world Raid). the mindcage item makes me think it is possible.
in ptr it was possible to lock the bar with teleporting to town, if the meter was full. blizzard fixed this. the new version is you have to lock out to main menu and lock back in.
Been doing this for the past 3 days. Leveled up 2 characters, obtained just over a billion gold, 10,000 angelbreth, and maxed out my iron wolves progression twice doing this method. Gunna continue to do this till the patch on tuesday.
So just get ur meter high and log out during the helltides?

I stopped bothering picking everything up since every legendary or unique left on the ground goes to your item box when teleporting to town so you don't miss anything important
I tried this and my meter was stuck at the top but it wasn’t spawning more monsters. Anyone know why?
It abuses spawnrates so you most likely were in a location that had no room to spawn them. If you take the boss area as a centerpoint, you need to run around from left to right for a certain amount of distance or find the spawn location. There are 3 different spawns. One that is based on distance, one fixed and another based on killing mobs. The best option is to find the fixed spawn locations and abuse those by walking into them over and over from a distance.
We really need the option to have multiple builds in an armory
Otherwise I feel like I'm stuck to one build and one only

But it will be a hustle to create a whole new build
And if minions ever go up again, I'll have to go through it again

I can't manage to logout during the bar, they spawn on me as soon as I run and try to log out.
When your bar is about to fill, run to the nearest city entrance, finish filling the bar, enter the city and log out.
Angle breath?
Got enough material for the whole season. But where this shine is rep farming. I finished 6 rep and will do 2 more. I made a level 5 set 35 set and 55 set and I can go to lvl 55 to wt4 in 40 min. It s possible rep farming is also as fast if not faster in lower tier but my group wants to do WT4 only lol

Blizzard already addressed this last patch notes.
It has been this way since day 1, I know people with 20k Angelbreath.
It is getting fixed Tuesday.
Unecessary, you can get a lot of angel breath just spamming the 3 heart boss and opening orange chests.
I've got 2k and im not even target farming it or spending a lot of time in helltides, more than enough.

Get full meter, log out, it will countdown from 8 seconds. During that time you will still get attacked if monsters are around so heads up.
Once at that character screen, log back in and use your elixirs and braincage. Your bar will be at 75% ish then refill immediately. Now until you die or logout again, you can do this for every single helltide. You do NOT need to repeat the logout process.

Yes. I was using it today with my necro. Basically it will pop elites like normal as if your bar was going down but it will not pop the boss at the end.
Blizzard policy for showing exploit methods has always been permabans. I wonder whats changed.

Yea +1. Atleast give them feedback to boost angelbreath droprate, if this method goes away it will suck extremely hard as compared to dropping around 500 per hour of helltide vs around 20. THAT is insane.
It happened too me, solo and i dindt log out It reached 100% and stoped there lol.
The bar is full, there are no mobs, apparently fixed.

Bro this is a bug not an impressive exploit. If it was an insane exploit Blizzard would have fixed it in 24 hours. If you would be able to find a way to get like 10 Uber uniques, yes then you surely will get banned. But not for this helltide bug

@@jarnold420jaMax out your threat meter in the helltide (red bar on screen), whenever that bar fills up completely, log out immediately and back in
Its really simple. You fill the bar, at full capacity it starts to degenerate thats when you log-out. Then you instantly log back in, go into helltide and find an area with a fixed spawn location. Then you run in and out of that location (or around it in circles) untill it spawns them. Some spawners like the big mouth cavity have a blocker tile that stays for a certain period of time. So its best to find a location that has alot of space (usually the boss area as that also add's mobs if you spawn the boss itself and people usually group there so that also helps with giving additional spawns the moment another player enters the area.

Potion's. They start to matter at higher pit level so its natural you dont know about it. The special potions cost alot of angelbreath yet are often needed to get the highest optimal gear set because you can fix resistances and armour with these potions. With additional damage options aswell.

I would strongly advice against using this exploit, and I think it is very strange that Rob has posted a video promoting such behavior in the game. Misusing exploits such as these constitute a clear cause for player ban. This one is especially bad, as it upsets the new economy of Diablo 4. I love your videos and your amazing energy, Rob, but this one is not doing anyone any favors.
It brings attention so it can get fixed. Things like this are good. It’s the games fault that this can be done.
You probably dont know but Angelbreath is retarded. Once you go beyond a certain amount of gearprogression you are limited on reroll's because of angelbreath. And farming that before this exploit ment around 50 per hour. Compare that to a cost of usually 5 - 15 angelbreath per craft or potion thats nothing. You farmed for hours literally for jack shit and that material can only drop in the overworld. In this perticular case the exploit is actually helping the game and thats ironic because normally i would agree with you completely. Now you can farm for 4 hours get around 1k angelbreath and actually roll your items, wow shocker. If you know diablo 4 like a no-life nerd then you would know these dev's love to make you waste your time and seeing this perticular material bloated factor get reduced is actually healthy. Besides you cant trade this material or any of it for that matter (ofcourse disregarding the legendary drop's but those are usually shit because its monsterlevel 100-113 so the chances of getting even a one star usefull affix legendary is already insanely low. If you optimally farm this you get around an inventory worth of single affix legendary's for about 4 hour gameplay. I dont think that aspect is unreasonable at all taking into account the horrible affix tempering system where a desired upgrade usually means bricking atleast 3+ items of the same 1 star affix rare item you have to already find. Now combine that issue with the material issue and you got sad gamers. So its gonna be shit and him telling you to avoid this problem is a very very chivalrous thing to do when you think about it. And also if you share these exploits and bring attention to them they will most likely get more priority to being fixed wich is a good thing. No more cover-ups please.
If it was HillbillyGammer1337 sharing this on his 236 followers channel, I would agree with you. Rob, however, has channels to reach out to Blizzard (who already knows about this) to report it discreetly. I would have expected Rob to hold himself to a higher standard. Just my 5 cents on the matter :)
