Wrong, zero day attacks is when the victim does not need to do anything for the for the exploit to work except for the initial delivery into the victims machine, no click, no opening of email, nothing. So the victim would be completely unaware of what was happening

A zero day attack is an exploit unknown to the world at that moment. The catchall term for malware that seeks out and finds victims without interaction would be a "worm"
