I've been a fan of YG groups and artists for a long time and i can definitely say that when it comes to slower songs, ballads and soulful r&b , they are the best of doing it. I sure people who are familiar with yg music in general would agree with me.
I Never Really Listen To Ballads ,Or Slower Songs In General , Unless Its From Red Velvet. But I Can Appreciate And Say BabyMonster Is Doing Their Thing
Thanks for your reaction 🫶 I’m going to see all of your video reactions to Baby Monster, it seems that you have uploaded many of them 😂. What I like about your reactions is that you’re honest, you don’t pretend that you like something when it actually does not, grateful for that.
Asa says "ACE-Sa" in Drip and Billionaire because it's a nickname Monstiez have given her because she's the ACE of the group since she can produce, dance, sing and rap plus her visuals I would love to see a dance for Billionaire too though, it's such a good song, my favorite one in the Album
actually the members called her it first. We just noticed them calling her it in a Last Evaluation episode and they do it a few other times in behind the scenes stuff if you pay attention. We all just started doing it too xD
@@xxprettylittlethings Nah, fans been calling her that since her intro video when we saw she could rap, write, sing and dance all in that video. Granted the girls were calling her that before the fans because the show was shot a year or two prior to us seeing the intro, but fans came up with it independently.
Things to know: YG has a specific sound. Like chanting endings and beat drops. Woke up in tokyo is definetly JPOP candy music for japan, may not be for everyone's liking. I definitely wanted sick bars from the girls, because if you give like a month, I'm sure they could write some dope bars, like actual korean bars and japanese bars. songs like love in my heart is for fans during their concerts. Every YG group has one, 2NE1, Blackpink (love sick girls), treasure, IKON, BIGBANG etc. Batter up remix was used as encore during Babymonster's fan meets and I think they added this to the album so that people can sing along in their own time (karaoke) Considering the fact that BM debuted this year in april, it's not normal to have a full album and if you listen to all of their song, I think YG is trying all genres. Following Bigbang was hard for 2NE1, but they did it, same was for Blackpink to follow 2NE1's success, now BM to follow Blackpink is just as insane. (after watching their stage presence, I think they can though). Once you watch their live performances pre debut and then their fan meets, you'll understand why some of the beat drops makes sense during concerts. They are also going on a world tour next year so the full album is for them to have a catalogue of songs.
9:27 Hope so, I really need a music video for Love, Maybe, Really like you and Billionaire. If you YG are reading this, please 🙏 those songs really need MVs, you’re not going to regret
@ZukiKrueger you should react to nmixx oo (debut song) dice, love me like this, funky glitter christmas, sonar, dash, and see that. My favorite b side from them is boom from there fe304 break album they were 7 members in the beginning but jini left on December 5th due to personal reasons and is now a soloist.
Fire album. Not a fun of kpop albums but this one in particular ia juat so good, a no skip album.... fun fact Asa is the official Ace (someone that can sing, rap, dance, produce, compose and write lyrics - she has multiple writing and composing on their albums)
@ZukiKrueger yes in Batter up she has credits as lyricist and composer, and in this album she has credits for Love in my heart and Woke up in Tokyo along with Ruka... also on one of the bts of Sheesh making, she was helping out the producers and Chiquita during a rap line...
You seem to appreciate Rami's vocals, so I would suggest you watch LeeMujin Service episode 125 with Rami. You'll truly get to see her amazing talent. Oh, and if you are going to react to it, you'll need to slightly alter the video to avoid it being blocked.
Pls react to blackpink songs blackpink are the teachers of baby monster and they are the best girl group in the world ❤ most of their songs are 1 billion and 2billions like "kill this love""ddu du ddu"how you like that ""boombayah"❤
i really enjoy your videos but i am 8 min in and omfg...the way you are hang up on clik clak.... jfc... and that drip should be the only title track or whatever... who cares? if it is called title track or how it flows into drip.. in the end it is just intro to the album kind of track and i yes the writing is kinda trash but it is mostly about vibes, at least that's how i am able to enjoy it... including the ending that is pretty powerful and i know that will resonate more with people that grow up listening to and enjoy dance music but coming to this video from the one where you were reacting to their introduction videos... you have whole speech there about people having different backgrounds and starting points and i know it is not really about that but it still kind of applies here... i get that it's not your thing and you enjoy drip much more but there is nothing wrong with variety especially for a group that from the beginning was by many reduced to lesser blackpink and compared to anything and everything yge and while you obviously don't have to like it they really don't need to have the ONE sound. also since you also had speech about comparing yourself to others... i know it is not that deep but at the end of clik clak it is pretty basic dance 4/4 beat whatever... it is not something charlie invented even if you are familiar with it from her songs :)
What’s JFC? , also thank you for atleast trying to have a dialogue about the differing opinions with Clik Clak, I’ve seen others in other comments just flat out call the person watching an idiot or something. I do agree that they shouldn’t have one sound, we seen with Forever To Stuck In The Middle That They Have Multiple Ranges They Can Hit Easily And Love, Maybe Sounds Nothing Like Other Songs They Done IMO. I’m still new to the whole title track thing in general so i honestly thought drip was altered in some ways just so it would transition into Drips MAIN song that’s why I thought the ending half was “ruined” . You might be right with me just enjoying it as a vibe though, at the end of the day it is just music, not much in life itself really changes whether the song is bad or not so just enjoy what you can. But since it was a reaction i wanted to give my thoughts on it and be as clear as possible so everyone could see my view.
@@ZukiKrueger jesus fucking christ :) oh i don't think clik clak or drip was altered in any way to fit each other it is pretty common for yge song to have hype/party outro... and even if it was my point still stands... people have different backgrounds... also musically... like i am used to listening crazy music that juggles all kind of genres so the end of clik clak wasn't jarring or ruined and ignoring lyrics, when it comes to instrumental and mv i actually love the vibe and the ending... the sound that loops twice after asa's rap making for a cool fake out of a drop and all the rest makes me hype like nothing i heard this year probably lol and when yg talked about clik clak going into drip honestly i just think that the end of clik clak brings up energy and hype up to the level of drip song and that's it. and to make sure it is clear i don't mind you not liking it, it is that you make it sound like this kind of song is a mistake for them and they shouldn't touch this kind of sound.... so maybe you can see how it could be annoying for someone that would love them to explore this kind of sound, hopefully with better writting... and also having your reaction to clik clak fresh in mind i was like... just move on please.. lol as for most kpop stans being rude... and not really that smart... well you have to get used to it i guess... anyway thanks for a lot of content on babymonster and before introduction videos yge dropped these short b&w covers that showed up an the end of introduction videos as a recommended ones... this is actually how they introduced beamon to the world so u may want to watch them having this in mind also there is the last evaluation show... if you don't feel like watching the whole thing u should definitely watch covers they performed there that are also uploaded as a separate videos with "clean ver." in titles witch btw just stands for "no cuts to the people watching them perform" not that they are censored :)

I'm Beginning To Warm Up To The Slow "All About Love Songs" . I'm Just Used To Songs That I Can Bob My Head To And Get Hype With , But "Love, Maybe" Starting To Have Me Like The Song More And More With Each Listen. The Vocals Throughout The Entire Album Has Been on 1000 , Every Rap Verse Was Solid As Well. I Loved The Woke Up In Tokyo, It Gives Me A Taste Of Their Culture That I Probably Wouldn't Have Heard Anywhere Else
For Woke Up in Tokyo, their names are actually Ruka Kawaii and Asa Enami and des is what you say in Japanese after introducing yourself, and they’re Japanese which is why it was decided they would do a sub-unit! woke up in tokyo like tokyo drfit song sound, i very like that
I think Woke Up In Tokyo is a good song to sing live in a show, they know what they did here, Ruka and Asa will eat the stage with this
It's JPOP coded and made for the Japanese fans. It sounds strange but that's what they like.
