Where I live in the USA, we have a large Serbian community, based in the Saint Sava Parish. They have a festival every year. I love the food and the festival. I go to the Greek festival and the Serb festivals every year.

@@xFluing I'm not super familiar with the situation, but a quick google search seems to indicate concerns over corruption and organized crime are the claimed reasons for both Romania and Bulgaria not being admitted to Schengen. None of the sources mentioned immigrants

I'm a Mexican living in Timisoara, Romania. I just visited Belgrade and for me the city looks amazing, at least of course the huge central part of it. It looks much better than Bucharest regarding landscape and maintenance of historical buildings! So this question goes to the Serbs:
How the hell do you afford keeping Belgrade so nice while everything is more expensive than Romania and it seems according to Numbeo that the salaries are a bit lower there?

On the first look, it looks nice. But you just had to take a look a little bit better. Belgrade is falling apart since early 2000s and it was never worse til nowadays

@@igor7195actually it was much worse before 90s since Yugo communist gov invested ZERO money into restoration of any pre-ww2 buildings, they actually were working on demolishing them, so whole city was gray shithole. Since 2000s big percent of old town buildings were restored, situation is not even comparable to pre-90s era. Now every year you have dozen of new buildings with restored look, its improving although it can be on a larger scale and faster.

We don't need European trash here since those are the ones who brought us wars and neglect. Half of these videos are not even from Serbia.
I mean yeah some of the things he mentioned are true about some buildings being in neglect but not every inch of every city or village is like this and those building are simply abandoned and in a legal loop hole so even govt isnt aware of it nor is willing to invest that is someone elses property.
Then there are legal extortions and here is one example of that.
In my case my father got cancer and passed away, he wasnt able to work and became homeless all his debt is now transferred to me. Some "legal" offices keep sending me their parasitic imaginary bills.
I basically so far paid out more then half a million euros, all his debt, his funeral, all the legal fees including the lawyers etc tons of things and yet I still get new bills to pay that allegedly are parts my fathers debts.
They took everything he had, he been in prison and yet still after his passing now they are after me.
I was digging around and sure enough all these "legal" offices are from EU and not even local govt. So yeah they are extorting us through these so called laws that they come up as they please and even if I win against them I still have to pay so no matter how you look at it I lose money and lose time, every day. It's a miracle I am not homeless by now or d--d too just like many others.
So next to that I ask you how the F some of the people can maintain their homes when these EU nazis are taking away our homes?! Just like they did in WW1 WW2 and in 80s 90s and so on ...
As a Bulgarian, all of this can be perfectly applied and said about Bulgaria too

@@segiraldovi Can't say for all the regions, but in St. Petersburg and small towns in Tver region it's just neglect or little care for old soviet commieblocks and a lot of capitalist anthill commieblocks being built to expand the cities. Some roads are fine, some are fucked, so probably worse than EU countries' and probably on par with the US. Overall life in European parts of Russia is pretty much the same as in most of Europe, Asian part is either Mongolian or Balkan living standards (depending on the region) and Moscow for some reason is a bloody capitalist paradise, being one of the best cities in the world (if not the best). Nothing truly remarkable, as with any country, there are a lot of merits and a lot of downsides, just much more disparity and variety due to the vastness and remoteness of some regions.
@@user-hf6hp9ou3v I really appreciate your answer, I am from Colombia (Latin America) and from what I see it is not that different from here (just that the standard of living is probably better there), The main cities Bogota (Capital City) and Medellin (Second Biggest City) They are relatively decent in terms of infrastructure (at least in the parts that are not marginalized) but outside of these you will find that there is very little help from the state, most local governments are very corrupt.

I have a friend in Arad. She says that she is Serbian, although her father is Romanian and her mother is Serbian. Her husband says he is Romanian even though his father is Serbian and his mother is Romanian. When NATO bombed Serbia, Serbian civilian planes were hidden in Romania without anyone in the world knowing. Greetings to the brothers from Romania!
I live in Serbia and I love living in a socialist neighborhood. I feel like living in natire here, surrounded with trees, grass, lot's of banks to sit on and feel like I am living in a park. Yes, the fact that the 60 years old building have never been renowned does make it less aesthetically pleasing but I would never trade this for living in a capitalist built city. Here, I have a lot of place to walk, ride bikes, play basketball and I feel like I am in a resort center. In the summer you will see kids playing on the playgrounds surrounded by trees, their grandpas sitting on the banks, a lot of young people, adolescents and people in their 20s, 30s hanging around and playing sports. It is an idilic scene. The fact that old buildings don't look new doesn't compensate for the good parts not even 10%. Plus, everything is close to me, grocery store is close, I can easily reach any part of the city with a bus.
This is not just my opinion, ask almost anyone who lives here and you will get the same opinion.
When you just take a picture of an old building, without showing the place below it you make it look worse than it actually is. People who try to shit on socialist architecture (i.e. people who dont live in a socialist neighborhood but are brainwashed to believe it is bad) often point to old socialist buildings to show that it is bad. In reality, the space between the buildings is wonderful, it is the best way of doing city design that I have ever seen, far better than US cities, or any capitalist city and even the buildings themsleves were a lot nicer when they were new. Tofay they are 50-80 years old.

@@student99bg I agree communist buildings have great location, great yards, and the people can enjoy communal activities. Here in Czech where I live now, we have many such buildinfs. They have been renovated and look great, but the kids stopped playing together and neighbours often do not know each other. I like villages in Romania, the little bench in front of the gate, the neighbours talking over the fence, it's perfect.
As a Hungarian I lived 5 years in Belgrade when I was little and I only have good memories from there. Going to revisit my old home next year after not being there for 10 years 😀

People who actually spent childhood here remember it well. I have lived in New Belgrade (socialist built part of Belgrade) my entire life and I love it here.

Thats gonna be a tough video, after inflation went wild in 2022, food prices are same here as in German supermarkets, restaurants are still cheaper, its same in the the neighbourhood as well, so "Lets go to eastern Europe for cheap vacation" is a thing of the past im afraid...

Do the part about what you love! As a Brit who visited Serbia for the first time recently, I had a fantastic time. Had a tasty pivo and cevapi at the top of Zemun, and watched a storm roll across the city. Fantastic!
I'm Italian and I have been to Serbia quite a few times (I think 5 or 6), what I love the most over there is the people. A friend of mine and I spent a New Years Eve in Belgrade, we had a table for 2 at a bar, in a matter of minutes we were invited by a group of locals to their table that was just bseide ours and we spent the whole night with them. Most of the times I went there I struck some friendship with someone, and I'm still in touch after years. And that summer trumpet festival in Guca is just amazing.
My favorite thing about Serbia how peaceful and friendly the country is to its neighbors and minority populations living within it.

Even if I had money to go to dubai, I’d still choose belgrade 😅😅 yiu got the rich part ( waterfront ) and you got the historic city and everything. Spent 2 weeks in Krusevac this summer, and the city looked well maintained and clean. The locals told me that the city developed infrastructure-wise in the last few years, and it was this new mayor that made all the positive changes. At the end of the day, nothing beats Serbian hospitality! 🇷🇸❤
Im from Krusevac, the city has flourished within the last 5-6 or so years, Bratislav Gasic was the mayor responsible for it all, until he became the minister of the police, yet he still invests into the city and for once, Im glad to see the city getting the care and treatment it deserves, especially because of its historic importance as well. I've always loved it and its always gonna be my home, but now I can finally show other people how beautiful it is and not have to base it off sentimental value alone, but they can now see it for themselves and enjoy visiting it

In Romania is the same. When cities have mayors that care about developing the infrastructure , then that city will looked well maintained. Sadly not all the cities from Romania have good mayors. Even in the capital some sectors look bad.

However even in my city, there's always these so called corners where its streets with no asphalt, rundown buildings etc. but luckily its not visible to someone who's just touring the city
I visited Serbia twice and i love how kind and welcoming are the people plus there’s no perfect country not even the Scandinavian countries, in the end, Serbia is my favorite place I have visited and the people i met there were such an amazing people, dude i love Balkans and i will go there again and again 😍❤️🇷🇸

Hehe, so true. But I think Bulgaria has managed a slightly better job in maintaining some of their historical architecture here and there. For example, I don't think you'll ever find anything remotely close to Plovdiv's old town anywhere in Serbia

I never visited Serbia, I have a great respect for our Serbian neighbors. I have to confess we Romanians and Serbians we are so alike :) maybe this is the reason we understand each other so well. When I saw these images, I remembered how Romania was in 2000 until it joined the EU. We still have problems, there is more to work, but now Romania looks better. Much better. Many changed from 2007. PS you said nothing about music and parties, but I believe we Romanians we are truly champions at manele and other retarded music
Music is quite similar, yet also different between Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. I visited Romania earlier this year. Some cities like Brasov or Sibiu were very well maintained, noticeably better than what you could find in Serbia. Reminded me of Slovenia or Czechia. On the other hand, Sighisoara was quite derelict outside the historic center and to my surprise Timisoara too. Transylvania is extremely beautiful, both the nature and the cultural heritage. Felt like some magic forest fairytale land.
I'm from Serbia and I love Romanian nature, people, music and you also have great movies.

@@visuallettuce3983 true. Transylvania was and is privileged with much money for developed . In Cluj Napoca there is a Baba Novac, or Starina Novak statue. I know he is Serbian National Hero. In Romania he is very respected, he was one of Michael the Great captains. Now, if you can, in the future, it is imperative to visit Moldova. You will be pleasantly surprised. Although Moldova isn't so developed than Transylvania, nevertheless Moldova is a very spiritual place, and Orthodox Monasteries here are truly masterpieces, unique in the world. Food and breath taking landscapes from Bucovina are also awesome. PS we have names in Romanian like Sarbu, meaning Serbian :)

Actually, I loved the bureaucracy in Serbia. The rules are mostly clear, and when they are not, you can just come to the person responsible for issuing some paper and ask them.
I also haven't yet discovered anything but friendly attitude and sincere desire to help (if you wanna see some really hostile officials who will take weeks and weeks of your life just out of spite to issue some stupid paper, visit Russia).
In addition to that, in a small town EVERYTHING is nearby. I once needed to get a paper - went to an office at a police station; the officer there gave me a list of documents that I needed to provide and a bill to pay; I went to a post office that was like 100 meters away and paid the bill, then walked a couple kilometers to my home, took the documents and returned; he issued the paper immediately, in under 10 minutes. Took me about an hour in total.
Back in the huge city I used to live before, just visiting the officer for the first time would've taken me several hours. And the whole business would've been concluded in at least a week.
Dunno about digital government, though: never tried using it.
I was surprised how easy it was to open a company. Almost everything can be done electronically now.

Digital government is mostly shit, you fight just to speak to a real person which, if the problem isn't straight-forward, can be challenging as they try to use generic answers from an AI robot!

I always quickly find everything I need from documents (both digital version and the paper version, you get those within few days after ordering) whether it be paying taxes, car registration, various personal documents, etc. Did you have some particular problems? I guess the UI can be improved here and there...

I would also mention the ecological condition, especially in Belgrade and Novi Sad. The level of air pollution in the winter time is just... visible. But anyways, there are a lot of nice things about this country.

When I came from Russia, politics and bureaucracy didn't hit me much, because there weren't new problems for us as well. But I was really upset to watch how many beautiful buildings were turned into commie blocks, especially in Novi Sad, and of course the graffiti and trash problem. But I'm really hoping that in the future people will be able to beat most of these problems and preserve the beauty of Serbia.
Those buildings are the remnants of the AHA empire. The Serbian government want to crash them all, to erase the past.

Romania was the same until the real estate prices exploded, now every square meter of the building is expensive and they started to renovate them... only where there is no value it remained derelict and dilapidated but little by little they are being sold and new owners are transforming them for profit. This building the older they are, the more expensive they get because they are beautiful and good for business. There are still many many old buildings in bad shape but little by little they find a new owners. At least in my city, the buildings in bad condition receive tax hikes from the authorities and when the owners can no longer pay they are forced to sell and in order to lower the taxes they must be renovated
We have been staying in a Block apartment in Novi Beograd for a few weeks. Serbia has so far has some nice surprises such as Zlatibor, Mokra Gora, Subotica, Kikinda that were very cool to see. It's a shame that the blocks are poorly maintained because their urban design is quite good (lots of parks, walkable shops, big apartments etc).
Check out block 30. Yes, it is not maintained greatly but the design is top notch. The best that I have ever seen. I am talking about walkable spaces, playgrounds for kids, basketball and football fields, banks to sit on in nature. It is just wonderful. When it comes to Novi Beograd in general I wouldn't trade living in Novi Beograd for living anywhere else on the planet.
When I was young I felt sorry for kids living in capitalist built part of Belgrade because kids have way less places to play and hang out there

I experienced Serbian bureaucracy at airports, if that counts. One time, at the flight transfer counter, me and another person, with US passports, were kept waiting while the official ladies were trying to "resolve" whatever the issue with our connection flights was. It took about 30 minutes of them essentially just talking about shopping and gossiping (I understand enough Serbian, but they didn't know that). Finally one of the officials asked the other: "what do we do with these people waiting"? The answer: "not our problem, they'll give up eventually and leave."

Just in Hungary, it's normal to be a self-hating Hungarian in the left-wing, it's so common that the right wing often call them traitors, anti-Hungarians, etc. But the right wing is not really nationalist either. Rather the point is that all sides hate each other and nobody is nationalist, people can't stick together. In Hungary mainly just the far right is nationalist.

My first time in Srbija, but it was not a culture shock, because I was a few times in Bosna, Cazin :D drugačije sam slovenac, puno ljudi znam iz bivše juge, sa svima imam dobar odnos. Bilo mi je drago u novom sadu, i bas mi se svidjao, ja i koleginica bili smo u centru, tačno preko mosta kad kreneš od petrovardinske tvrdzave.. I like to call all of us Yugoslavs, and talk about Yugoslavia as a geographic-cultural area with different nations sharing many similarities, genetic, historical, culture, sports, food, music, etc, in the same sense one would talk about Scandinavia and Scandinavians, without it ever being an actual state.
And yes, Norwegians were with Hitler in WW2 and Swedes with the Allies, and yes the Danes are too close to the Western Europe to be included in the Northern Europe, and yes the Finns speak weird, but one would not be too off to call them all Scandinavian. The same with us, the people (s) from the Triglav mountain peak just under the Austrian Alpes to the Vardar river towards Greece. One wouldn't be terribly wrong to call us Yugoslavian.

I did NOT expect an Astérix reference from a non-French person. I love this freaking scene, in France we also love to call 7 government services in order to have one document. It can sometimes take months to get an appointment to renew a passport or ID. For any meeting, if you're missing ONE document, you can try again.

I was in a long-distance relationship with a guy from Serbia, I got to visit Belgrade and Subotica which was an amazing experience. The food and wine was so delicious and the landscapes were also quite beautiful. Sure, got to see a lot of commie buildings but overall the experience was unforgettable.
On the other hand these blocks are surprisingly comfortable on the inside. When you visit someone living in one, be sure that the place will fell like home. I moved from one long ago, but it always feels like that.
@@alexturnbackthearmy1907 the Yugoslav commie blocks actually look quite decent in my opinion, it's just that they're often a bit run down on the outside. They often feature a few details that make them interesting in comparison to the Soviet commie blocks, which in turn look very, very mass produced.

Due do *certain* events they are indeed run down, after all they were meant to house all the people who lost their house or lived in literal barracks, until proper housing is build (which never came btw). All these building are already above their original lifespan, the fact that they collapse only during gas explosions or other similar violent events is a testament to soviet architects. And they could be renovated (at least in russia) by the people living in them, to fix some of the age issues, like VERY old elevators or exterior concrete look.
I live in Munich. But I have seen worse blocks than any on New Belgrade. Stupidity like having a flat on 5th floor nut youbexit from internal corridor into outside balcony and enter the flat from outside??? Your flat doors are opened to the rain and cold! And flats are full of mold. Yes they are painted outside every 5 years, the elevator is new and maintained... Even inside, youbdo not have extra toilet like in Serbia. Your ceiling is 2,4 meters, 20 cm less than minimum in Serbia. You'd not have place for cloth washing machine. They have communal machine in washing room in basement. I make fun with themm that we were commis but theyvare bigger, cause we never washed dirty pants in the same machine

Well, the most concerning thing for me air pollution caused by frequent stubble burnings, so if you live in a rural place there is no hope for you. It's heavily affecting my life since I have several chronic respiratory conditions, which only get worse with time. It would be cool if authorities could do something instead of just shrugging. I think the least I deserve as a human being is clean air and not to die of cancer.
I have been to Serbia to check out if Serbian are brown like my 2$/hour Albanian model living in Hanoi said, turns out there are more blonde hair blue eyes light skin people in Belgrade than in Tirana. How funny that Albanian and Bosnian make memes like that when they're the brown.
Novi-Sad Serbians (northern part of Serbia) have strong Austro-Hungarian and German bloodlines I think. The south-east is Bulgarian. Belgrade is north-central so that kinda makes sense.
Yeah I read this a lot from Albanians who wanna hate (not that being darker is even an insult). Apparently it’s not basic knowledge that the farther south you go in the world the darker people are. Greeks are darker than North Macedonians who are darker than Serbs who are darker than Hungarians who are darker than Slovakians who are darker than Poles who are darker than Swedes. 1) Rudeness of people that drive cars: cut offs, honking on yellow traffic light, not stopping on pedestrian crossing etc...
2) Serbs who love Russians yet never met one in their life nor do they know anything about Serbo-Russian history
3) Forced to vote for Leading Political party or you get fired.
4) Having to always double check what you bought, 0 quality control on items/food/etc... not to mention scamming
5) Quasi football fans that more look like low life petty bandits that go to football matches as a scape goat to be able to beat someone up.
Those are the ones that annoy me the most, Serbia is a perfect country to live in if you want a truly free life. Its sort of like a jungle and you have to fight for your own place, nothing will be given and not that many things are restricted.
I live in a small town in Romania and for decades the town looked like a s*ithole. 10 yrs ago a new mayor won the election and started to change the face of town. Although the town had 4 floors commie buildings he manage to do amazing things. He remade the streets and the pavement ,he remade street crossing , he rehabilitated thermally the buildings and remade the roof tops and external balconies . Under his management the parks were remade and new buildings were built. He hired people to clean the streets all day long and the town looks amazing...clean , colorful and decent. If its a will ...its a way. I've been to Milan and to be honest the city looked 20x more dirty . Its worth to mention that the mayor its to his 4th mandate . The truth about Eastern Europe its that we didn't has good examples along the history. From who to learn civilization? From Turks? From Russians? And another thing...we, Eastern Europeans, were always in a war . We had fights among us and against big empires. We don't compare with (random example) Germany that had 700 yrs of continuous peace and when they went to war they fought in Eastern Europe ...with us
Totally agree. Most countries had long periods of development and peace while we were busy fighting the Ottomans.
Though with the Russians you could at least learn about cleansiness but not so much about maintanance.

Although we had very bad periods from the Turks and Western Europe, many western countries are much dirtier and have more garbage than Serbia and Romania, for example Paris, London, Milan, Rome, etc. although they have beautiful architecture they are terribly dirty. It depends on the laws in the country and punishments for garbage and graffiti, which is not the case here. Russia and Austria are the cleanest countries in Europe in terms of cities, garbage and graffiti. Serbia was much better but all our progress was violently stopped several times, like at the end of the 1400s when we fell under the Ottomans and for years we were a little in the Ottoman a little in the Austrian Empire like their ping pong ball, then in 1914, 1941, 1945 and the last time in 1999. where the attack and sanctions on our country destroyed our infrastructure and economy.

For example Paris was jewel before 1960 when immigration and tourism took off. Now it smell like piss , its dirty and have a lot of ...dark foreigners. Import 3rd world and slowly you start to look like one. I've been to Russia and it does not have the cleanest cities. I also have been to Yugoslavia before the fell of socialism and dem ...I was so jealous, the population was so civilized ,the houses so nice , the cities so clean . Next to Yugoslavia , Romania was 3rd world cesspool. In the past we had a big war or invasion and plunder in average at 80 yrs...that leveled the country to the ground. Only now Romania begin to find its pace . 10 yrs ago we didn't even had an old city center.

Everything in this video applies to Romania as well, bureaucracy especially. I've also visited Greece and noticed the same things there. I'm starting to think we all live the exact same lives in the balkans.

@@salmarcano4057 Nah I've been there, life really is the same and it has the bad things you find in the rest of the balkans. The only different thing is the coasts. It has the most beautiful coasts in the world, along with Albania, Croatia and Montenegro, but Greece's are slightly nice, but the rest of the balkans makes up for its lack of beautiful coasts with the most beautiful mountains covered in raw nature.

Everyone in the Balkans wants to believe they are western European. Greece is just as messy as the rest of the balkans, I can assure you, there is decrepit urban infrastructure everywhere, like messed up roads, supporting beams barely bolted into the ground, it's dirty in many places, there are trashy uneducated people in the countryside, public workers are half assed, there are people who will try to squeeze your money in stores, employees have bad service etc. And while I haven't experienced Greece bureaucracy first hand I know that Greece is corrupt and has slow painful bureaucracy because everyone else who lives there says so, and generally when the average worker you meet has this certain attitude of working slow and with spite, it means the people working public bureaucratic jobs are even worse. Trust me I live in Western Europe and Greece and every other balkanic country is nothing compared to the conditions in the West. And Greece isn't what it was in the 90s. Romania is richer than Greece by GDP by ~30% currently and has had a huge decline in corruption, and the bureaucracy is still fairly bad, so Greece likely has it worse if you think logically.

And as for Romania they're GDP is actually higher but when it comes to GDP per capita Greece still perfomes better (imagine saying that india has better economy than Italy only because of GDP) , also you need to know that many Romanians live here like many others balkaners who moved to Greece after the communsm...
In conclusion Greece has very little in common with the rest of region and things such bad roads or burocracy are more like universal...

I feel like bureaucracy is equally crap in every Balkan country. When I was getting my ID card in Montenegro,after waiting for 3 hours in a line,they told me that I have no citizenship of Montenegro,a country I was born in and lived my entire life(up to that point). They told me to go to Bosnia to get a document that I was not registered in Visegrad(my Mother's birthplace)which is impossible to do without ID,luckily I have cousins there so they sent me what I needed. Then,after another 3 hours wait,I was told that I now need to go to Sarajevo to get a document that I was not registered there(my father was born in Sarayevo,but due to being son of an military officer,so they moved around before settling in Montenegro when my father was 3). Also,when I came to be,Sarajevo had a little case of being besieged,so how could someone born in Podgorica be registered in Sarajevo. It took me an entire year to get my ID card...
Bureaucracy is everywhere in the world. Took 35 years to get my ID while the government were giving away IDs for free to the illegal invaders.

As Bulgaria who haves some distant Serbian relatives i can say Bulgaria and Serbia are just too similar. For example when we are at my grandparents home in Bregovo (Bulgaria) we sometimes love to ride a bicycle to Negotin (Serbia) because it only takes 30 minute to reach it and feels like i never left Bulgaria just because we are that similar.

I also had that feeling in Bulgaria. Miroslav Ilic everywhere and Srbska skara as best gril in Rila mountains. Just stupid politics, iron curtain... the border places died because of border being closed. We could have much better history regarding Macedonia where both sides were pushing people. I am ashamed that in mine 44 years I have watched only one Bulgarian movie about some guy who traveled by train to Europe in 19th century making fun even on Serbians :) We need more culture exchange. It is shame that we know a lot about Slovenia 500 km from Serbia 3 times smaller nation than our close neighbors
As a hungarian, our cities and towns are decaying too. There’s a small village not far from Nyíregyháza called Nagyszállás. There are 3 completely abandoned “ruins” of tobaco dryers (I think that is how you call them). In addition there was a school in the village, now it is completely burried by vegetation and is roamed by gypsies and the homeless.
This also, especially the bureaucracy and politics parts, applies to my beloved homecountry, the home of strangely speaking middle-Asians and Gyulyás/Goulasch, also known as Hungary.

The waiting in line shit is a problem.
I went to get out my ID card a while back and the center near my house was crowded,could have easily taken me 3 hours.
Instead i went to the other side of the city,a 45 mins walk to get it,waited for 10 mins only.
Were my legs destroyed? NO.
Was it worth going to the other side of the city? YES.

I have been to Serbia as a tourist. Great people, very welcoming, with big personality and with a temperament. The hotel we were staying in was four stars, but it should only be two stars. It had subpar accommodation and slow service, as the rest of the establishment we went, and with everybody saying: "Samo polako," except on the party raft where as soon as you made a step away from the assigned table there was a staff sending you back to your table. But I was expecting subpar accommodation and slow service, because this is part of the Balkan experience, the same way that sightseeing is.

Few years ago, I've pass through Serbia on my merry way to Greece. Stayed a night in Nis... And oh boy ... you perfectly described it... Then again it looked like any cities in Romania in the 90's... Somehow we progressed... God knows how...

Bureaucracy is the same in Romania and things like buildings crumbling are common in a big part of Romania. If it's better than in Serbia then it's probably not by much.

When I and my uncle's family came to Serbia for vacation, my experience was that "the Serbian people love to make fun of and joke about politics, their lives and stories, and other things surrounding their situation." In fact, they love to really drink beers after work, and for me, it was a fun experience in City of Novi Sad. And lastly, Jagoštica is the best mount place to have some peace and beer. With some rural people there, I like their hospitality and they give me some foods and drinks for free, even though I am an Asian foreigner.
