Yes, I would stand in line for that, there's always room in life for that.
The editing on this is so good, it gives me chills. This should replace the "Official Video" of Extreme Ways, since that (to my mind) is a rather silly parody of bad 1990s MTV with the girl-sex and club dancing . . . just silly. This, however, matches one of the best action series of cinematic history with one of the best uses of a rock track in cinema. Bravo. (Watched Bourne Identity last night on YT for about the 6th time; have to get my guts up to watch Supremacy since the opening where Marie dies just tears me to pieces inside.) Thanks for this wonderful homage!
Can't get enough of Jason Bourne, #007 or #JamesBond, assassins, spies or espionage ... there’s almost too much on the menu for those of us hooked on absorbing and addictive espionage novels to find time for reading in a safe house far away from the tsunami of grim news we face in real life now. For starters there are fictional thrillers like Charles Cumming’s Box 88, John Le Carré’s Silverview or Len Deighton’s noir espionage masterpiece Funeral in Berlin. As for the main course, there are down to earth, raw and noir, often curious fact based Cold War thrillers you’ll never put down such as Bill Browder’s Red Notice, Bill Fairclough's Beyond Enkription in The Burlington Files series or Ben Macintyre’s The Spy and the Traitor. As for dessert, maybe something laced with the distinctly sardonic and singular humour of Slow Horses from the Slough House 'stables' by Mick Herron. We are spoilt for choice especially if you’re not bonded solely to Ian Fleming or Robert Ludlum.
My neighbor thinks the movie theme of the 'Bourne' series is so trivial and negligible. Nobody notices it because the movie is just so good, until the end when the music plays, and you go, what just played ?
