Pearly and Thinnah really like to take us on a roller coaster ride especially when they have a huge lead. As usually they tend to lose concentration and fritter way huge leads by making silly mistakes ..Thinnah hv been making a couple of service mistakes. Having said this their attacking style is very entertaining
Aku teringat 2 tahun lepas ramai hentam Pearly Tan -Thinnah. Ada yang suruh tukar pasangan terutama ramai mintak Thinnah ditukarkan. Tapi aku dah nampak keserasian mereka berdua tetapi masa itu mereka agak kurang berpengalaman. kurang stamina and kekuragan strength physical dan mental. Tetapi di usia muda itu, mereka mampu jadi juara sekali sahaja di Swizerland rasanya. Aku tak berapa ingat. Tetapi kekalahan demi kekalahan berterusan dan hanya mampu hingga ke peringkat suku akhir sahaja. Ramai dah frust tetapi aku yakin mereka mampu pergi jauh lagi. Banyak lagi potensi dalam diri mereka boleh dikembangkan pada masa itu. Akhirnya kepercayaan aku terhadap pasangan ini ternyata membuktikan buah. Hari ini mereka lebih serasi, lebih teknikal, lebih kuat smash mereka, stamina kuat untuk mengharungi ke rubber set, lebih kuat mental dan tak pernah berputus asa. Sentiasa beri yang terbaik walaupun ketinggalan mata agak jauh. This is the best women pair dari Malaysia. Sekarang kita perlu mengeluarkan pasangan2 yang baru sebagai standby kerana kita boleh dan mampu hasilkan bergu wanita bertaraf dunia. Kalau 20 tahun lalu, memang aku tak pernah mimpi Malaysia dapat melahirkan pemain badminton wanita bertaraf dunia. Sebab selalu kalah di peringkat first round sahaja dalam tournamnet dunia. Now it is the time our women to get to the same level as men. Come on girls. Girls Power.
