The hands down best tutorial on arm knitting EVER! You've made it very visible which pieces to go under and over when creating the chains where I could not understand other videos. THANKS a ton! :)
After watching this video I went and bought yarn to make my own collection of infinity scarves. I wish I bought more packages, I probably can. This will totally help me out. Thank you.
Love this, I saw one of these at a local store on a young lady. I asked her wear she bought it and she told me she made it. I was impressed. She told me it was a 30 minute scarf. I was amazed. She gave me the youtube address and here I am, can't wait to start one of my own. I let you know how it turns out.
just want to say thank you. I've watched I don't know how many videos trying to get this down. And you literally made it easy for me to learn. I even have my 5yr old daughter doing it with me! thanks
+ladyAMM0903 That is awesome! So happy to hear your daughter is able to do it with you :D
Thank you! I took an arm knitting yesterday and came home CONFUSED! Your video was exactly what I needed to learn this. Especially the part where you have the camera at your back. Great job, and now I have a completed scarf!
I've looked at many demonstrations and you are the only one I really understood.
Thank you very much.
This tutorial is very good. I made two scarf today one single and one double strand. Love them. Thank you for sharing.
LOVE IT! THANKS SO MUCH THAT YOU MADE THIS VIDEO! sadly i don't have yarn, but if i get yarn i am so doing this!
Beautiful infinity scarf! I've never heard of arm knitting but now I know & now I am going to start making my own, your video was very helpful.
I just learned how to arm knit from your original video last week and was just looking up how to color block! And just discovered you just made this video! Thank you, very easy to follow!
Stella J Whoo hooo! Yeah, I thought color blocking would be fun and no one else had done it so I thought, hey, why not?!
When I heard about arm knitting, I thought "pish! I'm never going to do that!"..I'm an experienced knitter, who thought people just don't want to take the time. WEEELL..after seeing the one you made...it really looks good! and fashionable! so ok, even though I don't like chunky yarns (I knit lace shawls and socks and ....) I did fall in love with the alpaca blends that were at JoAnn's....nice sheen, certainly warm and lovely colors. So I guess I'm going to try this...ESPECIALLY after watching you video...nothing like a clear explanation of things...clearly stated, great filming....just nice. Thank you ! so luck I found your videos! (now to figure out how I got here....)
Your videos are the best! I've been knitting for the past few days, and I have found a new hobby. Thanks for the tutorials!
I like to knit with needles, but my hands hurt while I am doing it. I heard about arm knitting and decided to look it up on UA-cam. Now I can knit and my hands won't kill me. Great video and I completed my scarf in about 2 hours. Thanks for making a great easy to follow instructional video. I can't wait to start my second one.
I love this video after all of the arm knitting videos i've seen this was very clear and easy to follow
This is soooo amazing!!! exactly what I was looking for (I even bought the same brand of yarn by coincidence!!!) Thanks so much for sharing it
Thank Audra for your video! Its so easy for me to learn as a beginner and I just finished mine as my friend's birthday gift. Its so lovely

I promise i will try this.. will work on me or not i will give it try, thankyou for your tutorial! I know i dont have any talent in making craft but this is so fascinating me.
So I watched your video and I loved it. I actually ended up using two strands of yarn and 3 colors. It created an even bigger better scarf. I used both ends of the same color of yarn to make the doubles strands and it came out beautifully. Thanks so much. I live in Denton, TX.
melissa garcia That's awesome! *Waving from McKinney*

Here is the Ravelry Page I made with the cowl I made. ravel.me/bethintx/akic
Love your video. I am making these. have you ever used the Russian join- you have no knot and you really can't see the join.I always do it on lacy stuff like this
I used to be able to do this basically in my sleep. I'm out of practice but I hardly have any yarn xD
love this! followed first video and made a beautiful scarf....cant wait to colorblock! have you tried washing this scarf?? im wondering how it washes??
Angela Sherman I haven't, but I would suggest spot cleaning. It might be too delicate with all of the loops in the washing machine.
@@AudraKurtzTheKurtzCorner You might want to hand wash it
Awesome
Lol awesome vid! Its so funny cuz I just went to Michaels to learn arm knitting! :D

ROSEYMARES
I want to make a scarf for my daughter but she doesn't like the thick ones. If I use regular 4 oz I'll it still look nice. Yours is beautiful.
Mary Stevick It may come out with bigger holes so I would recommend finger knitting a scarf.
The only two things I do different from you is one I make a one handed slip knot and two, I weave my tails through the binding and it creates a braided like appreance where the two halves come together. :)
AnImprobableFiction Not sure what a one handed slip knot is and I also use the tail to braid together the ends :)
Hermoso
I should look for size 6 yarn in my area!
Hi, when making a infinity scarf that wraps around twice with just one color, do you use all of both balls? Or can you make two scarfs from two balls?
I was just wondering, do you have any skeins left after your done or is it like the exact amount you need.
I watched your first video using two threads at once....I have some left over red thread that i want to mix in. Can I join two threads onto the 1 red thread and continue? Do you know how the result will be like? I'm guessing thick and then once it reaches the red, it'll be thinner since it's only 1 thread.
Do you have a Ravelry page? You should!!! I am putting my infinity scarf on a Ravelry Project page, but cannot find you to link it to.
+Bethintx1 I don't, but thanks for sharing!
Love this. I what to make some for Christmas with my daughters. What is the minimum yards needed per bundle?
+Brittany Keehn I'm not sure about a minimum. Mine were around 100yrd, it just depends how long you want it.
Hi Audra, Love your tutorials!!! I would like to try and make one this weekend, where could I buy this yarn? Walmart? If my scarf turns out I will be making one for each one of my family members for Christmas!!
Tammy Shank Yes! You can find it at Walmart, Michael's, Jo-Anns and Hobby Lobby :)
Audra Kurtz Thank you!!
super
I want to make one for a child, what do you recommend the rows and stitch count being ...I don't want it too big or too small...
Hello! i just tried to make this scarf and it seems so long and loose. I did the 27 rows. how can I tighten or what am I doing wrong ?
how long should that ball of yarn be for infinity scarf/striped infinity scarf?
can you do blanket if so i would love to learn how to do so
You mentioned something about "27 times"...so if you had 12 rows, you would do each arm at least twice??? That's the only part that confuses me. Trying to understand how to make all color blocks even. Love the scarf by the way!
Are the rows all of the individual threads? Or not
Basically, if you are just using one skein of yarn, do you keep knitting until you're almost out of yarn? Or how many times do you transfer from one arm to the other?
Angela Farris 25 to 30 times depending on how long you want it.
I have searched far and wide and can't find a color called snapdragon! Any tips for a replacement color? Someone has asked for the exact scarf that you knit in the video. TIA
When you use 3 colors like this, do you end up using all of the yarn or can you make multiple scarves with the 3 bundles?
Erika Beck No, you can definitely make 2 to 3 scarves like this. You need to buy yarn that' over 100 yds though.
I can get the first bit but when i take the loops over onto my other hand it just gets tangled and makes a mess >.
Can you wash the wool scarves?
can you do this in a side 4 (medium)?
should I keep me arms close together?
Mrscreative47 Yes it helps.
I was wondering if you have ever times yourself to see how fast you can do this. If so, how fast can you do it?
+Emma Adamson Like 20 minutes if I'm going fast :)
Is it because she is left handed ? Thats why I'm so confused?
How long does the tail have to be?
Can you make a scarf with just one strand
hola tendrás tu tutorial en español por favor
how many yards are each bundle o:
Ok so on the first tutorial with only one color, you used to strands, why don't you use two strands of each color on this scarf? Or can we use two strands for that as well???
MizLeiDanielle You can use just one, it make is chunkier if you use two. It's up to you.
How many rows did you do on the final one
