I’m guessing he didn’t. Picture 100 times better actually being there in person. The intensity the power the anticipation for the snake to drop and the pit to start.
. But Pantera actually wrote good songs.... there's a reason they were the first metal band to debut at #1. Nobody has or will ever have their chemistry again..
This is when they were their strongest what a fucking awesome band and personally I don’t think anybody hits harder than Vinny. His drum literally sound like Canon fire ( RIP, the brothers Abbott )
I usually play this video whenever I’m feeling like shit and it helps me every time. The vocals from Phil, the drums, the guitar fucking EVERYTHING about this video just sounds AMAZING!
Saw them in August of 96 at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre Birmingham Alabama with White Zombie and EyeHateGod and I was 18 and tripping balls, but what I remember the most was them playing Sweet Home Alabama, it was the best show ever!
OH YEAH... I remeber this War of the gargantuans with white zombie ..96 summitt houston texas... When that curtain dropped was one of the best moments of my life.. RIP DIME RIP VINCE
My dad went to one of the Sacramento shows im sure of it. But i dont know,i just know he did go to a pantera concert which was kickass . He said he had a blast, left the show with only his pants and one shoe. Love you dad ,rest easy. I will play your favorite bands for you.
Was there, sure me and pops had some good combat down in there i was 16 at the time. First pit. Just found my ticket stubb last night that what brought me here.
I saw this tour at wings stadium Kalamazoo, MI it was my 2nd time seeing pantera I was 16...Coal Chamber & Machinehead opened it was a badass show... Thanks for the memories RIP Dime & Vinnie 😈🤘🎸🍻💨
Boy do I miss this band. I saw them several times from the CFH tour opening for Wrathchild America to 2000 Ozzfest. They had such a stage presence along with one of the best front men ever.
My god I miss the 90's for mainly this reason!! They were so fuckn awesome for the times then holy shit just amazing. Great on record...even better and more powerful live!! Getcha pull!
I live in Roseville now and I am familiar with Arco Arena. Saw this tour at the LA Forum and between their set and the stage set for White Zombie this was one of the greatest shows I have ever been too!
I was dead center about 20 ft from the stage. I vividly remember getting crushed and lifted off my feet at the first note. It was scary until I realized I wasn't gonna die and then it was pure kickass until the end.
PANTERA at the Peak..I saw this tour and every tour at the Peoria civic center and they brought it everytime..The unity between the crowd and band was unbelievable...Now everybody holds their phones and it's lame but in the 90s it was awesome...Watch and learn.
I skipped school when I was 17 in 11th grade to go buy The Great Southern Trendkill. Then saw my first concert ever Eye Hate God, Deftones, White Zombie, and Pantera August 5th 1996 at the Minneapolis Target Center. So unbelievably bad ass!

This gig was played ten days after Phil overdosed on heroin and died for five minutes. Unbelievable perfomance, inhuman. I miss Pantera very much!!!
