Be merciful.... I'm nearly 70, and have only a passing awareness of Radiohead. However, the Akai Headrush I know. Use mine for spacial renditions of "Cathedral" and "1983", combining with panner and secondary delay lines to make cavernous aural murals. Great fun, as long as noise limiter also utilized. Will strive to research and listen to R-H in the future. Thanx.🎛️
Had an E2 for while, really great delay pedal. One of the multi head settings was a great rhythmic delay I've never been able to duplicate on other multi head pedals. I really like the way the looper works too, very easy to correct any mistakes when setting up a loop!!
yeah, this is my favourite rhythmic or binson style delay available. for such a good price as well when compared to the other options for an echorec emulation.

i want to try the e1, it looks like it's pretty similar to this one. i think the time control works differently on the e2, i think it might be better on the e1.
I have one of these and occasionally it will briefly turn itself off along with every pedal on my board (apparently I'm not the only person this happens to). Worth if for hooking up a shitload of amps and sitting in a circle of delay though.
yeah, vintage pedals tend to have fun quirks. i once had a boss ps-2 that would pick up radio stations from across europe, i don't know how but a nice little feature ;)
Hey! I have this pedal, which means I have one thing in common with Jonny Greenwood. 😆I love this pedal, however, I recently took it off my pedal board because it doesn't seem to work properly in stereo. When I've tried it in the past with more than one amp or my stereo amp inputs, the delay happens just once on the second input, then reiterates only on the first input. Maybe mine is broken? Yours seems to oscillate back and forth the way my Boss DD-7 does. I'll have to investigate it again.
a couple of thoughts / troubleshooting - *you can only use all five outputs in tape mode (mix + heads 1-4) *when using tape mode each output corresponds to a tape head, so if you're plugged out of heads 2 & 4 for example you'll only hear those two tape heads, you'll need to plug out of mix to hear your dry signal *in normal delay mode you can use mix & effect outputs for a stereo image *mix output works as a sum in mono or dry signal when using more than one output hope this helps!
