Intro to FOURIER SERIES: The Big Idea

  • Welcome to my new playlist on Fourier Series. In this first video we explore the big idea of taking a periodic function and approximating it with sin and cos terms of various frequencies. We will define Fourier Series and see what it means for the series to converge to the original function. We'll also see a bit about Gibbs phenomena and what happens around discontinuities.
