Mista Butterworth yes, that's why I said the same BASIC Engine. Stronger internals mean different parts from the regular Hellcat in case you didn't know. It's like having any other built engine.
i wish that was true, just like in the truck community its either one or the other for too many people for example a mustang guy would hate all other muscle cars there are a good amount of people who like all of them but there are way too many who dont
I love the fact that GM and Ford are focusing on a "sports/track car" philosophy while Mopar is still the pure American muscle car. They make track cars, dodge makes drag cars! I love it.
Galip Şanlıtürk If you are talking about muscle cars Dodge definitely stick to straight line performance but I think the viper acr is the fastest American car around the Nurburgring so, dodge can definitely do track cars...sucks that they are discontinuing the viper tho.

You want real muscle? You have the Challanger 392/hellcat/demon. Fast sedan? Charger 392/hellcat. The new Jeep Trackhawk and Durango SRT will take care of the whole SUV segment too. Well... I am a little bias because i own a 2017 challenger 392 soo...🙄🙄

You prolly know but incase you don't, it sounds like that because of the cold start. So while it warms up it runs on high idle. Then once warm drops down to regular idle. But a hemi washing machine would be a sight to behold. 😂😂😂

A friend in high-school had a 5-speed 5.0 Foxbody with a few modifications and Flowmasters. It sounded glorious under acceleration. He then got a SN95 Cobra with the 4.6L DOCH, and Bassani exhaust. Again, glorious. For some reason, older Mustangs had a mean sounding tone, although they were more Pony cars than Muscle cars.
I cringed so hard when somebody commented "tHe gT350 or ThE zL1 sOuNdS BeTtEr" They're not muscle cars, they're pony cars. I don't wanna debate with all of you, I just wanted to share my thoughts.
Guess what? Pony cars are a division of muscle cars, which means pony car are technically muscle cars! AND, if you don't believe me about that, remember that the Challenger was introduced as a muscle car! Also, do not tell be that the original Dodge demon was not a pony car and hat fact makes this Dodge demon not a muscle car, because this is an upgraded Challenger with the demon name, not an entirely new muscle car.

Muscle cars are larger and usually feature a V8, although I guess some arent banned because of a V6. So, yes, my old SXT with its entire 305hp would technically qualify as a muscle car. So, no Camaros or Mustangs aren't muscle cars, but the Challenger is. It's very iffy, but I would not qualify the Camaro or Mustang as a muscle car

I say that these days V6s are becoming acceptable due to the increasing capability in smaller engines and how car makers are shying away from big engines. Bugatti won't make another W16, the 2017 Ford GT has a V6 instead of a V8, AMG are discontinuing V12s in favor of V8s. But essentially, muscle cars are much larger, have a more muscular feel to them, and have bigger engines, whereas pony cars are smaller, more sporty looking and feature a wider array of engines.
This is my dream car because dodge is the best brand then any other brand in my opinion and because of the looks, speed and the beautyful sound it has but the best thing I like about this car is that its the fastest street legal car ever made;) keep making videos of the DODGE DEMAN
I'm a Mustang and Corvette guy and always will be, but I can admit Dodge makes badass Challengers, Chargers, and Rams. Hell even the Durango looks badass now.

Well of course but they're totally different animals. I think he's referring to newer muscle cars mostly because those old carbeurated V8s have a sound that just can't be replicated.
Modern V8's sound too smooth if you will, sure it sounds good but compare it to the scream of a small block Chevy 350 or the roar of a 454 it's nothing
Dude I really love your channel and all your videos, however some of the cars (like the demon, hellcat .. etc..) sound better while moving so I guess not just me but all of us would appreciate a GoPro stuck on the back as you drive the cars for a better experience with the exhaust sounds. Either way all of your work is appreciated and loved
I have to say that there is really only one true muscle car of today, and that's the Dodge Challenger. All these other cars, like the Camaro, Corvette, Mustang, Impala, Malibu, Charger, they're focused on handling. And, yes, the Challenger does have a TA package which is specifically for handling, it has a setup that is built specifically for not handling. The very definition of muscle. These former muscle cars are now more so pony cars and sports cars. Not to say that they are bad cars, not at all. The Impala and the Malibu are great daily drivers, the Charger is a badass pony car that's also good to daily drive (if you can handle it), the Mustang, well, it hits crowds, all jokes aside it's a great car. Handles well, goes pretty fast in a straight line, sounds great. Corvette is very track-oriented. Camaro is also very track focused. But I agree, the 'Stang sounds great. Just, IMO, I prefer the sound of Corvettes and Challengers.
Great video. Sounds good for a standard off the mill V8. But nothing still sounds better then a 351 Cleveland with extractors, double barrel Holley Carby and a centrifugal super charger. Absolute beast
Funny how a lot of dodge dealerships were trying to void warranties on the hellcat supercharger for installing an aftermarket cone filter air intake. Blaming the filter for the early failure. Then introduce the demon with same supercharger just clocked faster with a cone filter. Lol

Unfortunately that's not gonna be the case. After 2023, Dodge is killing off the Challenger and Charger because Dodge wants to make electric cars for 2024.

Damn that is beautiful in destroyer gray, and will be destroying all competition (as if there is any). I just installed SLP Loudmouth cat-backs on my '10 SRT Challenger, and they sound fantastic. I think that they should come from the factory with a set because they really do sound that good, and remind me of the exhaust note of old muscle.

The Hellcat was and still is one of my most favorite cars that FCA has produced. The Demon is fighting for that top Challenger spot now.

Damn that is beautiful in destroyer gray, and will be destroying all competition (as if there is any). I just installed SLP Loudmouth cat-backs on my '10 SRT Challenger, and they sound fantastic. I think that they should come from the factory with a set because they really do sound that good, and remind me of the exhaust note of old muscle.
