Atleast ather is trying to improvise on things in scooter category unlike Hondas and suzukis. Kudos for that. 👏🏼
Honda has 30 percent in ather
Wrong info.Hero does.Not Honda@@mukeshbaba5326
Honda engines are always reliable unlike ather we have to see after 4 years of use I guess ather must have some range issues
Honda is Honda don't compare with companies.
@@latvork3044 With the funds they have they are at a privilege to R&D the entire scooter market. But they settle for less. Sedate companies wont last long.
Expected a better design from Ather.
This is how next generation of TVS iCube might have looked like
iQube ST
Tvs helped ather to setup it's plant in hosur t.n
Well that would make sense. TVS iCube was built be to be a family scooter. It's conventional, it's simple to look at, it's functional and it's big for a family.
Ather Rizta followed it the footsteps because this is also a family scooter.
I qube looks better than this
Fusion of tvs i qube and 450x = Ritz design
yes , very true
Ather has the potential to become the premium mass electric scooter brand. Born in India serving the whole world. Great innovations
Loved the rear end. Hate the front end. And it still has the ergonomic issue that the 450 has - The handlebar isn't high enough.
Was really looking forward to this but I need more research before I consider replacing my 450X.
If you do so much research, how you had end up buying 450x and regretting now? BTW what's your experience with suspension setup on 450 with and without pillion, especially undulations and speed breakers? Will the scooter throw away the rider?
@@manoharmeka999 I don't regret buying or owning the Gen 2 X. It was the best electric scooter when I bought it. For a 6'1", 100 kg rider like myself, you start noticing a few issues. The scooter is sporty, so ride comfort isn't a priority in the X. So it's pretty stiff with or without a pillion. There's not much space for a regular sized pillion too, especially with me riding. It won't throw away the rider, but it will try to shake your fillings out on rough roads. I use it for short distances and grocery runs while using my VStrom SX for travelling further.
😂nailed@@manoharmeka999
First I was like oh no ..
another start up company... Then only I realized it.. Ather❤
Finally a Family Electric scooter.. I appreciate they kept body mountains motor. Unlike Qube & S1 which has hub motor, which is susceptible to water ingress, as most of indian city roads are in bad condition during monsoon.
I like the looks, i hope Ather got ergonomics right this time
I took a test drive today of Rizta.
It's comfortable, has a touchscreen and good family. Magic twist seemed to be a gimmick. I tested 2.9KW Z variant.
Nice explaination bro..👌🏻
Everyone talks about the features of the scooter at the time of release. But what about after-sales service. Is it like normal scooter service can I get it in one day. If something breaks down can it be sorted in 3 days. We need to investigate this first before buying for its features.
This is good competion for tvs Iqube which is also a practical family scooter
The only thing I was looking for was traction control/ABS. I had two accidents recently which could've been avoided if the scooter had it.
When OLA bike/motorcycle is coming, any news ?
Safety feature like the traction control should have been standard across variants and the Halo helmets are simply too costly even though they offer the wireless tech..
Hi, Can we take out battery to charge.
As River Indie is probably not coming to our city, I guess this is a default choice now for e-scooty with utility.
Still better to wait, rather than this avg product, lacks rear disc breaks, no flat boot, Ola gave this in Gen1 boot! :D
Range is very important is missing ?
what about the battery chemistry? Is in an NMC battery OR LFP ? Thanks
This perfect family scooter and looks also super. The price will be kept reasonable to buy middle class family.
Really a great looking scooter for family buyers which this scooter targets.
Ye rizta kya khelata haai
Oooooo ... Ooo
Ye rizta kya khelata haai
lol bruh
can you rizz-ta someone with this 🤪
😂😂😂
Ye Rishta ❌ Ye Rizta 😂😂😂
Next variant: Rizta wohi soch nayi
Why EV companies can't make a "normal" looking scooty?
Exactly, an EV version activa is what everyone needs. No gimmicks, basic key, good range.
Bajaj Chetak looks closest to a petrol engine scooter.
But that apart manufacturers want people to recognize their scooter from just looks.
@@kreativechaos7606you don’t speak for everyone
Hmmm, because they have nil choice of doing, as many are directly imported from Chinese manufacturers
@@VinayWebstar haha true
Hi, how long the battery works?... And if i want to change the battery wht will be the cost?... Pls make a video of battery .. And after affects of battery...
Well said on the helmets
Nice design ❤
I'm excited about the helmet than the bike.
I would love it the helmet doesn't work only with the Aether bikes..
but the price...😢
The helmet is 15k
@@johnkodamala6149 the i hope the quality of both hardware and features are worth 15k
very good scooter 👌🏻
Rishta, inspired by iQube, lacks rear disc brakes, forced regen renamed as "magic twist", whereas Ola gave it without such name.
Also the 34L boot in Ola is flat, here it is curved.
It Good some company doing R&D
Specially into electronic vehicle and don't copy the china.
Ather using the tvs ties to design a family scooter looking like the icube
Ather has link to hero not tvs
Looks good better than chupiter and hactiva 😅 currently river indie and ather riztan❤❤❤❤
What about suspension? Sporty like ather or soft like icube?
Suspension is on the softer side
I hope someone remembers FR Velion. They used to have a scooter almost exactly like this
which motor . u have not specified
The helmets with those functions is a show stopper
river indie super👌👌👌
Come on Autocar, It's 2024; bring 4K
Will the helmets work with other products? like TVS or Ola?
They don't even work with Ather gen 2. You need gen 3 or newer models. So you know how tightly coupled the tech is.
I am buying it
looks like bounce infinity E1
I Actually quite like the retro Modern look
We need fans in helmets for summers.
Not speakers.
bro have a house on wheels
Why stay in a home
😅😅😉😉🤭🤭
@@kshitijpandey6514 we have RVs for that.
@@saptarshideb2082 do you live in india?
@@sakshamsharma4582 yes
In india, there are people who use motor home.
TVS should focus on having a better EV portfolio, while also focusing on strong hybrid engines.
Design looks inspired from the low cost low speed Chinese ev models
Here comes the self hating country hating narcissistic leftist bengali babu
Is the whole platform made of plastic ?
"Listen to music while you are riding"
And here our govt is working to make roads safer 😂😂.
Which shoes he is wearing?
Nice scooter. But still the River Indie seems to be the best scooter in the class.
Looks more like a TVS iQube😅
can i fit LPG cylinder ?
A valid question if it's made for family❤
Yeah and your mom too
@@Pavankumarcj thanks.
Your mom already confirmed that
The most valid question yet to be answered man 😂 ❤
No but you can fit in a CNG cylinder 😂
You would never turn the handle to its full range while you are riding it. And when you are turning it fully you wouldn’t keep your leg on top but down on the floor.
Nice
Think Activa EV has really made a big mistake to enter late in the EV market in India as now Ather Rizta will take over most of the EV 2-wheeler chunk as Honda Activa did in the petrol version😊
Wish I waited for this. Instead of buying a zest
Why noise cancelling!?
How is the rider supposed to hear the car or truck horns?
I will buy this electric scooter if it comes under 1,10,000 (top version)and with a battery of 8 years guarantee like ola.
I hope they will announce discount sale in the year end.
Hmm I think it won't happen
This is the last subsidy the ev is going to get. 10000 re.
Since govt has achieved the sales target of ev scooters.
Two wheelers will be removed from fame subsidy 3rd version.
Looks like they Try to replicate i qube
Rear part looks out of proportion. Those helmets are capable of doing everything but offering protection.
Really interesting family scooter which good alternative for OLA. But front, it looks like TVS iCube. It has some stuffs like large front boot space, additional safety feature which my wife want it especially slow speed stability and price also quit close to Ola AIR.
All good except Battery, still stuck with same 3.7kw,, could have atleast provided 4kw like OLA..
@autocar it is ather 3rd product in lineup
1. Ather S340
2. Ather 40
3 Ather rizta
Kindly correct if i am wrong
Practically just the second
The design change is done after 340 series ..340 is basically a 450 series with 65km range..I own 450 1.5 gen as of now have done only 21k.kms in the last 4.5 years. Visited service center only 4-5 times in the last 4.5 years.
helmet is dope
Somewhere seems like the river indie... Even the comparison felt soo...
Riverr is best look at its tyre size and grip. The only thing is the range and touch screen missing
@@vikrant_bhise look wise, I will go with River Indie
Oh no wonder why this looks so strange in the back . They could have atleast extended the wheelbase to match the shape. But kudos to their quality and efforts.
What about locking it from stealing and cover
Rizta without the rizz…
I'm more interested in hybrid than pure eV...
Aage gas ka tanki aayega ??? 😮
No😂
Price and Battery warranty OLA is better but ather details like front frunk, helmet are interesting.
Honestly i did not like the rear design. Rear section pushing back a lot. That would definitely stress the vehicle lot when you ride it on an uphill road with a regular sized pillion..
Ola is best in looks and milege and motor i used from 2 year 1 issue i faced after software update it is ok
rishta 👍
Bhi isme gas cylinder ayega kya?
It matters to me significantly. Happy Mom, Happy Home 😊
Stupidest question.
Ather has all the goodies to take on big boys❤
What's more interesting is this video is entirely shot on iphone. iPhone cameras are replacing small size dslr/mirrorless cams
I have the same feeling about the Ather Rizta what I had when I saw the first model of TVS Apache 150 - It looks awesome from the front, good from the side, but absolutely awful from the back! Why do most manufacturers mess up the tail design?
I wish the back rest was a slide and lock so the single rider could use it too or have one that is attached for the front rider
Its 2024 and Autocar India still can not upload videos in 1440p. SMH !!!!
Ather scooter parts are more expensive, really it will make you cry when buy this scooter
Ather played a spoilsport by just making cosmetic changes to existing 450 series. No changes in frame and motor
GOOOFY AHH SCOOTER 🤧🥴🥴
Perfect scooter for me.
WOW 😮😮
Except price everything looks cool and best and top
MUSIC WHILE RIDING ???? SCARY
You and your pillion can listen to the same music, ignore the speeding Creata behind you and continue listening to same music in heaven as well.!!🤣🤣
Waaaw nicely copied from the Indian Horse TVS Iqube
Why did they skip the touchscreen ???
Bdlc motor?
Bldc
We bought Ather @1.85 lakhs at Raipur Chhattisgarh in oct23 ( CG04PJ3805) but no subsidy received till now. Disgusting promise by Ather
Front looks like TvS iqube
Range?
125km
battery in a helmet ? isn't that a safety hazard?
It looks better than tvs iqube
iquabe st ka name suna h
Range kya h ye btao
The centre of mass seems off from a design perspective. If the pillion rider is heavy and is leaning on the back rest, the scooter will do a wheelie for sure.😅
It won't do... because battery weight will balance it ..
Tall riders are going to look funny riding this. I never bought the Ather 450 for this reason alone.
I'm 5'11 and i don't, so how tall do you mean
@@karanbirsinghbhullar I can bet that you can't take a U turn without the handlebars touching your knees.
Maybe you can cut a few inches
Waiting for ev Honda
Don't expect too much from Honda
Design is not consistent, i mean if u see front only or back only it would be hard to believe that these comes from same scooter.
