Thanks for the tips. I’ve unfortunately already made the mistake of being toed too fast, which put about 1ltr of water into the oil. Lucky it was fresh water and a few oil changes had it sorted. If it was salt, bye bye engine. I’d never heard of the toe tap, so thank you very much!
I just bought two brand new Yamaha Waverunners VX Cruiser HO. I was at Lake Perris in California breaking our Waverunners. I was right behind the boats catching waves. I believe my damage came from as the water gets behind the lower my wave runner gets lower as well in the water and scrapped something, I don't know what it was. Came home inspect the bottom there it was a ding. So, I'm getting repaired costing me $1,400.00. The shop I took it to has to repair the with clear coat and do what ever it takes to look brand new again. I bought the wife one as and giving me a hard time about it, in a good way. She telling me my wave runner has no damage. Listen learned.
Thanks for the content. I'll be a first time waverunner owner this spring (FX Cruiser SVHO) and I appreciate the information on all your videos. Very useful, and helpful advice. Hello from here in Rhode Island/USA. Thanks again!
Hey mate question with flushing your jetski, how long do you let the hose flush ur engine? Ive only taken mine out a couple of times but flush it for about 3 mins. Is this enough or will I need to go abit longer, cheers love your content
@@TheLanesOfficial hey man i went good. I actually loved it and forgot about the bull sharks even though there was. Your tips were helpful. Thank you so much man. You made it seem easy and it was. It was my first time ever. You have great content keep them coming. I didint fall as well 😂
If you get something stuck in the grate, but not in the impeller I've found that if you kill the engine and rock the ski side to side the trash will clear itself.
I ve got dead corals stucked in my jetski, engine was working but jetski would move really slow, i ve tried hard to go front and in reverse and got it unblocked, i didn’t damage anything.

Lucky you didn't try to start it would of bent all the rods within a second!!!
Shame manufactures still do not equip the tow tap valve.

Please whats the song on the background!! My gf loves it!
Anytime I encounter seaweed stuck grate I have a serrated knife in which I remove seaweed. Yes you have to jump in water to remove seaweed
Thanks for the videos mate, really helped me with the purchase of my first spark a couple weeks ago!
No worries mate, how are you finding the spark?
Where abouts are you located?
@@TheLanesOfficial I love the spark! It’s the perfect ski for me
I live on the Gold Coast not to far from surfers
See you out there, we are right next to the chevron bridge. Where have you taken the ski so far?
@@TheLanesOfficial I just take it out on the Broadwater usually just drop it in at Southport if I see you out I’ll come say hey
Sweet as, possibly out Saturday morning
Just bought my jet ski spark, I get it in a few days! I wanted to know how to go about the break in period and how fast and for how long? Thanks!
When we got ours we took it easy for the first 5 hours and didn’t use sports mode. After that full throttle and sports mode are good to go.
Currently breaking in my gtx now... cant wait till the 5 hr mark so i can see what it can really do...
The gtx models have idf now which wouldve came in handy if you sucked something up...
😳😳😳
How does towing get water into a closed loop engine?
Because the engine isn’t on
It’s closed loop , no way water can get in

With flushing its usually between 30 and 90 seconds, depending which ski you have it may vary but 3 mins sound like a long time
There is no such thing as flushing to long, it won't hurt anything.
Im going into the canals of surfers for the first time im more scared of bullsharks 😂
It’s all good up there, nice and flat and most of it you can go 40 knots. What ski have you got?
@@TheLanesOfficial is it ? Haha I don’t have a ski, im going with a Jet Ski travel team
How did you go?

What would your advice be riding the spark 3 up in the ocean??
If it’s just yourself it’s not too bad as long as you don’t need to go to far but with any swell or chop it’s a tough ride
@@TheLanesOfficial alright thanks
Hey mate...what kind of camera or you using to shoot this video?
Insta 360 one x
Best camera to get great shots on a moving object
@@TheLanesOfficial Awesome! Are you using the same camera for your still shots where you're talking to the camera?
When I’m at home I’m using the canon m50 with the 22mm lens. It’s really good.

What type of gas do you run. I have a 2016 SEADOO spark 3UP
The cheapest nastiest stuff I can find E10
Lucky, we were only 2 miles away. Full of vegetation.
Why wouldn't you hop off and try and pull the sea weed out while in the water, don't run the motor while you know weeds is stuck in the grate
It was too late it happened so quickly

That is unfortunate mate
It is but could have been worse, as long as it doesn’t happen again 😬😬😬

How lucky I was hoping to do the same but it didn’t work
