    Hey you're very creative I like the way you did the burning

    I've been debating trying out my wood burner (pen style) on some bones but I'm hesitant about the smell haha. I've also only got palm tools for wood carving. Considering trying them but don't want to ruin the blades just in case. Been considering a Dremel, now I'll definitely have to grab one.

      U.S. Skull Hunter I’m always blown away by the things you’re able to do with these skulls. I’m new to the channel but so glad I found it. It’s given me some ideas that I’ll use on my skulls even though I don’t have the creativity you do nor a single artistic bone in my body. You’ve really given me the courage to try some things and I’m grateful for that. Thanks so much for putting out this content.

    What's the average charge for carving staining a skull? High to low?

      You don't have to but I find a satin clear coat makes the burning look better

    wonder if a pyrography pen could work instead of regular burning?

    • @usskullhunter
      @usskullhunter  Рік тому

      It will! You have to use a good one though, not the ones you buy at the craft store (they don't get hot enough)

    Have you ever tried or seen electro pyrography used on bone?

    • @usskullhunter
      @usskullhunter  4 роки тому

      I have! The results were not that great unfortunately. I will definitely be giving it another go though, I am sure there is a way to make it work :)

    Awesome technique Hunter! Will it work on smaller, thinner skulls? Say like a raccoon skull my daughter and I found in the woods?

    • @usskullhunter
      @usskullhunter  5 років тому

      Yes it will, you would just use the mini torch and just take your time so you don't heat it up too much :)
