i may as well vent in a comment section- i know this song is about family problems and all, but i relate to it in a different way. i have a rich family, i think (and other people think) i’m pretty, and i have a lot of friends and all but i had huge anxiety (i don’t have it as much now) and this song just makes me think of so many of them that i’ve had in my life. everyone would watch me just sob because i couldn’t let go of my mom and she was trying to get me in. and then everyone would ask me “why were you crying this morning?” id always just say “i don’t know” and change the topic.
