I found some tiles in a thrift store another good place to look for them.. I did this type of design that came in an a art subscription box and bought the tiles to do more of them.
These are awesome and I'm totally doing this for presents this year!! Mira for the win!!!

That blue and purple one is GORGEOUSSS
These are so pretty! Probably important to note that this only works on non-porous surfaces(because otherwise, the ink would be absorbed). If you liked this, you should try paint pouring. It's really therapeutic(and dare I say addicting).

I’ve done this with my 6 yo grandson and he loves it! We both did! I had only used an eye dropper though and am going to try the spray bottle approach.

We did this at a nursing home I did my clinicals at, but we set them on fire after putting the alcohol on them, and then we sprayed them with a sealant to protect them.
Whoa, that sounds cool! What kind of effect did the fire have?
@@MiraByler I think it just helped it to dry faster (And provide extra entertainment for the residents of the nursing home). I think it also helped keep the color more vibrant and didn't fade as much. It was a really fun project to do with them before Christmas.

try doing a second layer of sharpie an alcohol but use the same colors still copic various ink too u should try!!!!!

alcohol inks are fun, when you buy your first home, you'll have to do your own backsplash :D. I think you would like Tim Holtz and his techniques for alcohol inks and probably his other stuff, too much fun. ❤

I love this! I have a bunch of tiles left over from another project so I’m totally gonna do this. What did you use to varnish?
I used liquitex varnish. I wanted to use krylon sealant, but when I went out to buy it... I came back with everything except that. 😂

A really fun thing to do too is add the alcohol then set it on fire. It reacts in a very cool way!

I just recently got into art again and started *making* time for it and the yt art community is so huge and awesome but gotta say you have definitely quickly become my favorite to look to for inspiration. I think it's because the things you draw and suggest are so relaxing and not extremely demanding like some or just people sketches over and over like others. I really love that you do other things like plants, animals, random doodles. I love love love your channel. And your editing is just icing on the cake 😆
