It's due to several reasons. Firstly, some stereotypes used may be considered offensive or racist (e.g France wearing a very french hat).
Finally, the fandom is associated with 'hetalia', although I can't say I personally know much about that. Ty for reading, got a bit long.
Some of these ships are extremely disrespectful to victims of horrific historical events (e.g the holocaust) that should NOT be romanticized.

I'm Korean and this character is unusually -handsome-
The animation is literally so freaking fluid and amazing. And don't even get me started on the art. The proportions, the poses, the expressions, they're all freaking golden! I absolutely love this! ❤️👍
There are really great animators out there and even if the fandom is really "corrupt and hated" you guys make it better and this video is just amazing. That's all i can say it's just pure perfection.
Дело в том что сама по себе идея фандома неплохая, даже отличная, но всё испортили шипы, понимаете шины должны быть в меру, но тут этого гавна слишком много, не знаю как там у вас на западе, но у нас в странах СНГ или же постсоветских странах или как у вас это принято в "Рашке" всё очень плохо по поводу кантрихуманс и там очень сложно найти нормальную часть фандома кантрихуманса. да даже простые анимации

I love the amazing animation and quality of these videos, these would've been very hard to make and that's a sign of an amazing animator, pulling through the difficulties of it.
