    Thank you for all of your lovely tutorials. I have found that regular embroidery floss doesn't work half as well as the cord you use, and was wondering where you bought the waxed polyester cord you used in this video? Thanks!!

    I love all your tutorial's I think they are just great. Some times i get confused on the size of the cord like this one I think you are using 1mm thick waxed polyester cord. But what is the 0,5 in the (Here I used 0,5~1mm waxed polyester cord) I know it is just me not understanding. Also I watched some of your wire tutorial's and they are just as pleasing as the macrame ones please keep them going. You and TIAT with his paracord tutorial's are about the only ones I watch any more.
    Thank You

    Hi Macrame School. Normally I make up my own designs but am now starting to work with finer cord & am trying out a few tutorials. Can I sell the pieces I make from your tutorials or are they copyrighted. I would change the designs slightly even if it is only adding beads but didn't want to use them if you have copyright on them

  • @Alealea123

    Some of my tips after making this bracelet following this tutorial:
    You make 7 knots on the inside sides of the heart and 11 knots on the outside side.
    With 1mm rope a manage to make 7 hearts (same as in the tutorial) and it is not enough for my (quite thin) arm - I made long endings with sliding knot, then it is okay. But if you want hearts all around the arm (as the tutorial suggests), you need much longer rope to make more hearts.
    The ending - after finishing the last heart, you cut ale the cords except middle 2,3,4 (depending on the ending - I left 3 and made a braid on each side of the bracelet connecting with sliding knot). Probably you need to burn your waxed cord or use some glue so it stays this way and doesn't untie itself, not sure. Didn't manage to find a video about this yet.

    • @VeronicaD0862
      @VeronicaD0862 4 роки тому

      Same happened to me with the length, I added 40 cms and managed to make 8 hearts. The big but is that some threads ended too long and unusable. Have to work this out, because it is so beautiful and easy to make.

      I always wonder if I'm really the only person who finds herself angry and aggravated as hell, every time I try and follow a "Macrame School" tutorial.... I consider myself a moderate macrame artist, if not intermediate, and I whiz right through every other macrame tutorial (by other artists, although few and far between here on youtube)....
      But not these guys... I downright cannot follow 9 out of 10 of their tutorials.... In fact, I'm getting pretty darn sick of cutting 16 pieces of 90 cm (expensive) cord, only to find out that yet another Macrame School tutorial is virtually impossible for me to follow..... The person who's doing the macrame has their hands in the way most of the time, there's no subtitles (like perhaps name the stitch you just switched to, and how many of those stitches you'll be doing???), the artist goes too fast, these tutorials just downright aggravate the dickens outta me.
