@@chimeraZA Got curious myself and was only able to find that his name is brandon mayerat in this happened in Indian River County Florida.
From a number of different news outlets and accounting for how useless american online public records are was able to find the following.
He was arrested nov.6 2020 for (Corruption by threat)
He did not have court until the 22 march 2023.
The state attorney dropped the charge for charged for Corruption by threat.
But he was charged and plead guilt to disorderly intoxication at his court date and plead guilty and currently has a suspended license for not paying his fines.

I was unable to find ANYTHING on any level mentioning ANY follow up cases where he complained/sued/or settled with the state.
So unless michajanicki6860 posts a source like you asked. Im inclined to say BS. Specially when his court date Was not till the following year. I find it extremely unlikely that he would still have a court date after suing the city.

@@yourboi1842 Jurisdiction is the wrong word for what you're trying to ask, and in the video he used it wrongs too. But I can assume what you're asking.
Warrants are only needed for searches or arresting someone who you think is in the property. If an officer can visually see a suspect inside a building that is committing or has committed a crime, a warrant is no longer needed to enter.
As he was commited and was charged for corruption by threat while in front of the officer a warrent is no longer needed. Note this holds true for florida and most states to my knowledge.
Same rule applys to say dometic violence and any number of crimes that would result in a warrent no longer being needed.
Tho is most cases the officers need to back up in court why the entered but in this case... it was all on camera?

@@danielzinck1888 yeah... Not really. You can clearly say he is intoxicated, blood alcohol will be tested to confirm he was intoxicated. He complied with the original demand for the call. Police know he isn't going to hurt them by their body language- if they were concerned at all for their safety they would immediately have a hand on the trigger. Case will be dismissed- he will probably get 50k for a civil rights violation, at the same time he will probably be court ordered to AA if this isn't a first offense.

Depending on the state, this would be a valid threat to make, e.g. in some states you even HAVE to state you're going to use violence / lethal force on someone who has entered your property (or is about to) and give them a chance to leave before you do so.

For real, I used to work at McDonalds. I have watch buns with ketchup hit the floor and then go out the door. Ive seen yellow salty liquid added to lemonades as a "free drink" to the a-hole. He said IF you enter my home, ill eff you up. He has every right to do that under castle law. He also has every right to state what he will do if his home is breeched.

No, for 2 reasons. 1) It's not trespassing, the cop had probable cause and didn't need a warrant, as soon as he was assaulted in the first 5 seconds of the video (several times). 2) Even if someone does trespass, that does NOT activate any right to kill them in Florida, even though it does have a castle doctrine law. You must have a reasonable belief your life is in danger to use that law. If the cop simply calmly walked inside without any threatening anything, and he shot him, that would be murder, castle doctrine or not. It would be a basis for a lawsuit, but not killing. So EVEN IF he had specified "I'll rip your head off IF you come inside" (which he didn't specify at the beginning, watch it again), it would STILL have been felony assault, and given probable cause. The guy is a dangerous idiot, should be a felon, and hopefully he gets disbarred.
@@gavinjenkins899 under Castle Doctrine you have a right to use physical force to prevent someone from trespassing, and we all know that an officer in uniform who is breaking the law, under the false belief that he or she is in the right, will escalate force, should he or she encounter "resistance". That force will almost always escalate to lethal level force, should resistance continue. So especially in encounters with LE, your life IS in danger, should he or she engage in criminal activity that violates your rights, and you resist. It is most definitely reasonable to assume that once a cop begins using force, any serious attempt to counter that force will be life threatening. With LE, out of necessity, one's right to resist is substantially less when they are legally enforcing the law. Unlike in a citizen's arrest, there is no mistake as to the purpose of force used by an officer, thus one can't claim a lack of awareness when force is applied. Because of this imbalance, it makes any criminal act on the part of law enforcement much more of a threat. LE must be given certain amounts of leeway in legal enforcement, but as a consequence of that, they must be held to the strictest standards, should they break any laws.

Harris county Texas has a huge problem with shelters over capacity and having to euthanise dogs because of irresponsable people not spaying/neutering and seeing dogs as a way to make money. Texas passed a "no puppy mill bill" and that woman is right. You can't sell puppies at the roadside or in parking lots. Hard to feel sympathy for people that are part of the reason why so many dogs suffer and rescue organisations drive in from other States to get dogs out of Texas to prevent them being euthanised.

Yes, he said things he shouldn't have, but there's no point trying to have a discussion with someone that drunk. Once you see he's not a threat to others and himself and is complying with turning off the music. They should have let him sleep it off and returned the next day for a "chat".
